I still dont know clearly what to do with my 2 sticks of 8GB 3000MHz that set themselfs to 2400 MHz but my Motherboard and i5 8400 can run ram at 2666MHz. In the 3rd pic i dont know why nobody says to set my xmp to profile 2 cause that sets it to 2666MHz i think, im not sure thats why im still asking. Cause today i was at a shop that repairs pc and they told me the same my uncle said, not to touch them casue my pc knows better.

yea but my pc can only run 2666MHz not 3000MHz

So there r 2 options for XMP look, i have no idea wich one, please take a look and tell me.

Hello 1st i wanna show my specs so its easyer resolve this problem. i5 8400 with a MSI B360M GAMING PLUS MOBO(i think this is all what matters) So i got this new memory HyperX Predator Black 8GB DDR4 3000MHz CL15 2 stick so in total is 16GB, and the problem is that my pc placed them to 2400MHz and not to the max of 2666MHz. My uncle said to let them this way cause my pc knows better, but i want them to run at their potential and get good speed on my pc. So if somebody tell me how to put them to 2666MHz without reducing their life or breaking the warranty or anything like that. Thanks.
