  1. I live in UAE and B550 tomahawk and Asus prime x570p are around same price. But Tuf x570 is about 50$ more expensive. B550 tomahawk had pcie 4 slot right ? but chipset link is gen 4. I do not understand this part. what is this chipset link gen 4 and 3 ?
  2. Hello, I am planning to build a PC with 3700x, just confused between MSI B550 Tomahawk and Asus Prime X570-P, don't have the budget for a high end x570. Or will I be ok with B450 Tomahawk ? Is there any instance where 3700x will be better on an x570 than on b550 or b450 ? I don't think I will buy an expensive pcie 4 nvme either. What is this chipset link which is mentioned as gen 3 for b550 and gen 4 for x570 ? does it make a difference for 3700x ? Thanks
  3. I will go for 3700x on a B550 Tomahawk.
  4. Yes yes I mean X264, sorry. I thought x264 is available only in Intel. So if I am using AMD also there is software encoder other than NVEC ?
  5. True. If its 10700K then I shall get 3900x then. I shall stick to my original plan for 3700x. I am actually only worried about their performance in the long run. I might not upgrade for another 5 to 7 years may be.
  6. Does Ryzen has any driver issues, I know about GPU but a friend of mine said even their processor has some driver issues is that true ?
  7. May be i will wait but i don't think so, I mean may be to get these models for cheaper price but I don't think i will buy as soon as they launch since they could be more expensive and I heard the difference is marginal.
  8. No I do all this video editing streaming and stuffs. But both has same threads and cores and 3700x still better ?
  9. No I have a 60Hz monitor currently and may be upgrade to 144Hz, in that case I think then I will stick to my original 3700x plant. But Thanks. I was using 260x for recording in Intel, I believe that is not available in AMD. What is the alternative and is it as good ?
  10. Hi, I am planning to upgrade my system from 2600k. Been using it from 2013 and still have no issues but since I have started streaming and some game recording I think it's time to upgrade. I was planning to get 3700x but now I see that the 10700 is also around the same price here. 10700k is about 90$ more expensive. I try to stick with intel since it's been so long with 2600k and it never broke. So I just feel like Intel is more durable in the long term. I just want to know why I should go for 3700x instead of 10700 and will the 10700K give a much better performance than the 10700 if I am not over clocking ? I find the base clock of the 10700 to be the lowest among this 3.
  11. Hi guys, My current system is as follows, Intel Core i7 2600k 3.4Ghz Asus P8Z68-V Mother board Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB HyperX 2x8GB RAM Cooler Master GX 650W PS 1TB WD 7200 HDD 240 Kingston SSD Is it worth upgrading my GPU or is further upgrade going to be bottlenecked by my 2600k ? I am usually gaming only and planning to stream.
  12. after hearing using an adapter on pciex could affect even slightly on GPU, even I am thinking the same. Thanks.
