  1. I would be getting a deal on the asus x99-e ws mobo or the rampage v I would be doing CAD and gaming on my rig. Which would be the better choice for a good mix of professional/gaming usage?
  2. So the story is this: My R9 290x recently crapped out and started displaying artifacts and crashing during benchmarks. I got it RMA'd to XFX for a replacement. However, there was a sale or EVGA B-stock GTX 980 available that I bought while waiting for the replacement. So, the question is to you guys on what I should do with the extra AMD card I'm getting back from XFX? Thanks, Andy
  3. Plug in your headphones into the mic and through windows sounds set the mic as default playback device as well. You should monitor your voice that way without latency.
  4. It's never been registered with XFX. I just submitted a ticket for a RMA. If it falls through, what cards do you guys think I should purchase as a replacement? Looking for best value rather than balls out performance atm. Thanks
  5. It's a XFX card and I live in the US. well I bought it at a price knowing that it might be an issue.
  6. I think one of the main reasons it crapped out was because I bought it used from a person on overclock.net that possibly have been tortured by bitmining. Not sure if RMA'ing is still an option.
  7. I recently my r9 290x crapped out on me. I currently have a 3440x1440 ultra wide by dell and a 1440p monitor by asus for programming vertically. What graphics card on the market right now would do decently until the pascal release? The GPU is really only needed to drive games on the ultra wide. I was thinking of either the 970 or the 390. Thanks for your answers! Andy
  8. You should take a look at the Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus.
  9. Not sure if this is against the rules but I have one unopened and brand new H220 I looking to offload. Message me if interested.
  10. A doubled memory version of the 780 is the Titan... GK110 chip and 6gb memory
  11. Like the title says. I just finished a new build two days ago and everything is working fine except that when I shut down through windows the fans and lights keep running. I installed all the latest drivers and BIOS and this issue still hasn't been resolved. If anyone can give any insight and help into the matter, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
