  1. Yea, I honestly have no idea why they're that high. There's already 5 case fans blasting in my PC. Is there any way to confirm that the motherboard is actually faulty or maybe HWInfo is just not recognizing the actual temperatures it?
  2. I just ran a SMART check on the HDD and there seems to be no issue with it. I've finished running the diagnostics. During the entire process, it made a flick sound 3 times. I attached a picture and a complete log file below, but I don't really understand what is normal/not. Could you help me check to see if there are any strange min/max voltages here? volt.LOG
  3. What a coincidence you mentioned BSOD (Haha...), it did blue screened a few days ago, but I thought it wasn't related to this flicking noise. I guess that's another sign of a faulty PSU, but I'll run the checks and keep this post updated. Thanks again.
  4. Hi, thanks for both of the fast replies. I'll run a check tomorrow, and reply as soon as I'm done. Just wondering, I did post the same problem in a different forum website, and they said the power supply may be faulty. Could that also be a source of this problem?
  5. A bit of info about my PC: I've had this PC for around 8 years, and recently it has been making this random "flick" sound. The sound is the same as when I turn off the PC using the physical button (audio link attached below). It happens multiple times during boot-up and during medium-heavy load (like gaming), but sometimes also when just using Chrome. A few seconds after the click, the whole PC would freeze up for a couple of seconds and becomes super slow after (can't even open folders). I checked the temps and everything looks normal, but I did see a sudden spike to 100% in the task manager when the flick occurs. (Audio: https://www.file.io/9OXI/download/fqxSv3AJt5Ps) PC Specs: - CPU: Intel Core i5 3470 - GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050 (1 Fan | 2GB) - RAM: Micron 16JTF51264AZ-1G4M1 (2x4GB | 1333Mhz) - MBD: Asus P8H61-M LX3 Plus R2.0 - PSU: Alcatroz Magnum Pro 275x (550W) - HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB Question: During the 8 years of using this PC, I've never encountered a problem like this. Does anyone have any idea about what's causing this and the solution? - Thanks in advance flick sound.mp4
  6. Hmm, but would it be stable? I read on sme other forums that they're having some problems (idk the specifics) when running a CPU above the 3600 on a cheap board. EDIT***: Whoops looks like I read the board wrong. I got mixed up with the B450M-HDV board, Sorry. Looks like the B450 Pro4 is good enough
  7. Just checked the prices, Yea! I could get a used Ryzen 5 2600 with warranty still on until 2023, Oloy Owl 2x8GB 3000Mhz, and the B450 PRO4 (The micro ATX one is not available in my country) for about Rp4.125.000 / $310. A bit overbudget but I can wait
  8. Hi! Thanks a lot for the reply! Just a question, with that motherboard, would it support if I upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 7 3700X or would the Ryzen 5 3600 be the maximum? Since probably the Ryzen 7 3700X would lower a good amount in price (in a couple of years?), looking at the recent releases and competition between Intel and AMD. Oh yeah, and the Oloy RAM, should I get the Owl version or the Warhawk one? They both have the exacþ same CL timing but the Owl version has 16-20-20 and cheaper while the Warhawk one has 16-18-18 (idc about RGB)
  9. Budget: $250 / Rp4,000,000 Country: Indonesia Games/Programs/Workloads: - 1080p Gaming: Project Cars 2, CS:GO, osu!, Genshin Impact - Video Editing: Premiere Pro, After Effects - Animation: After Effects, Photoshop, MMD Current PC: (~8 years old, bought it pre-built) - CPU: Intel Core i5 3470 + Stock Fan | Upgraded from an i3-2100 (Late 2019) - GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050 (1 Fan | 2GB) | Upgraded from a GT710 (Mid 2017) - RAM: Micron 16JTF51264AZ-1G4M1 (2x4GB | 1333Mhz) | Upgraded from 4GB (Mid 2017) - MBD: Asus P8H61-M LX3 Plus R2.0 - PSU: Alcatroz Magnum Pro 275x (550W) - CASE: Armageddon Diitron T2 (5 Fans) - MONITOR: LG 24MT48AF-PT (24" | 1080p | 60Hz) Description: I'm currently trying out video editing and animation since I joined an extracurricular activity related to those things in school. We're mainly using After Effects but I'm also using Premiere Pro as an extra (since I already learnt it by myself) but I'm struggling a lot with using those 2 applications. Crashes often, rendering takes a while, scrubbing through clips is horrible, etc. For gaming, overall it's fine, a minor inconvenience is Project Cars 2, on low graphics if I have a background process like Discord or Youtube, it'll crash. I heard about upgrading from an i5 3470 to a i7 3770 isn't a very good option since the price to performance I'm getting isn't a lot. I also know that the PSU I have is from an unreliable/unknown brand and I should replace it. All these things just make me confused on what can I do with my PC (in terms of upgrading) Questions: With $250, 1. What are my upgrade options like, staying on the same platform, moving to a newer platform, etc, that offers the most value (focusing on video editing only)? 2. If there are no good value upgrade options available, what's a more reasonable budget that makes more sense for future proofing my PC (giving more flexible upgrade options down the line)? 3. If selling my PC is an option, with the expected price that I can sell it for added with the $250, what build can I get with the budget? *P.S Go ahead and take the rumors, leaks, price expectations, etc, into consideration since I'm not in a rush to upgrade, it's just an inconvenience rn and I understand the PC hardware prices are overpriced as heck currently.
  10. A bit of backstory, I'm very interested into trying out the world of audiophile headphones ever since getting a few videos recommended about this topic on Youtube (e.g Dankpods, etc) BUT, I'm not willing to jump straight into this and pick up a HD600 or something, nor am I willing to go and get a mid-range audiophile headphone yet, I'm looking at the absolute budget headphones. A few nice things to know: - Type: I honestly don't care either if it's open, semi, or closed back headphones, since I only have experience using closed back headphones. - Usage: I'll mostly be using these headphones for gaming, video editing, and music. - Budget: I understand that some products are not available and prices in my country will differ a lot compared to other places like the USA, and to counter that I have left a link to a local online store that you can access to find the prices here. For the budget, I would say the Samson SR850 would be my max MAX (Rp400.000 / $28), so please don't tease me with saying "{insert headphone name here} is a bit over your budget but it'll be so much worth it", but go ahead comment your opinion about those headphones you're talking about if you feel like you really need to share it to me. - Durability: Idk how long a headphone would realistically last but I'm hoping that it would at least surpass my current cheap headphones (going on 2 years rn), and no, I'm not the type of guy who just throw a thing when raging, I take good care of things no matter how expensive it is. - Expectations: I've been using $5-$10 pair of headphones my whole life, so my expectations are pretty much at the bottom of the floor. (picture of my current headphones down below) - Personal Opinion 1: I hate in-ear earphones and dislike on ear headphones, they just feel odd imo and for in-ear ones, well, they just hurt my ears for some reason. So, I'm hoping to get recommendations on over-ear headphones only. - Personal Opinion 2:: I'd like to get neutral looking headphones with no flashy colors or RGB. Having no mic would be a plus too (I already have a dedicated USB mic). Local "Amazon" Link: https://www.tokopedia.com/ Here's a few of my picks that I found but don't know too much about, and rn looking for opinions on: - Samson SR850, (Rp385.000, MAX Budget) https://www.tokopedia.com/netmusik/samson-sr850-headphone-recording-rekaman-non-box?whid=0 The most well known headphone in this list (I think) and the most amount of money I'm willing to spend on a pair of headphones. - Audio Technica ATH-AVC200 SONICPRO (Rp285.000) https://www.tokopedia.com/festivalkamera/audio-technica-ath-avc200-sonicpro-over-ear-headphone I found this recommendation somewhere in a different forum but still not clear on how good they are. - dbE Acoustics GM250 Pro (Rp250.000) https://www.tokopedia.com/dbeofficial/dbe-acoustics-gm250-pro-gaming-headphone-dengan-3-5mm-jack Accidently found this when I was researching, I doubt they'll sound good (they look like those extra bass headphones) but sure looks good imo. P.S Sorry if I look like I'm making an essay or something, I just want to make things as clear as possible so people wouldn't be confused. My current headphones, if you're wondering:
  11. What's the difference between the AOC 24G2 and the 24G2E (besides the stand)? Do these two monitor have the same display? worse display? or are there any compromises (other than the stand) with going with the cheaper 24G2E?
  12. Out of these 6 headphones, I think I'm most likely going to buy either the Samson SR850 or the AKG K72, since they're similar in price. I'll have to still think about getting the AKG K72 for the privacy or the Samson SR850 for the better sounds.
  13. Thanks for the great recommendations! (Sorry for not responding for a few hours), while I do understand and respect your opinion on buying a good pair of headphones and just buying it once, I'm quiet worried on how long headphones really last (maybe because I've only bought cheap $5-10 headphones for gaming and they would last with me for about 2 years before blowing out), I'll consider buying a pair of excellent but a bit more expensive headphones probably after buying a more budget friendly one at the samson's price range or the (cheaper) suggestions you made, and experience them first hand on how good they sound compared to the cheap headphones I have and see how long they would last with me. If it really is worth it imo, I'll no doubt use the suggestion you made and buy a more expensive headphones that would sound better, last longer, and pretty much cheaper in the long term of usage. Anyways, once again, thanks for giving me your opinion on this!
  14. Hey, just looking for a headphone that I'll be using for my digital piano. I have a budget of 50 USD Max. What I've found from my own research: - Audio Technica ATH M20X ($44, in my country) - Samson SR850 Professional ($36, in my country) Feel free to voice your opinion on what you'd recommend, etc!
  15. Edit: Go ahead and compare the Samsung M31 to the Poco X3 NFC 8GB RAM + 128GB version since they're more similiar in price. Edit 2: I see alot of comparisons on the Samsung M51 with the Poco X3 NFC, instead of the M31, but that would be unfair imo since the M51's price is way above the Poco X3 NFC. That's why I made this post
