  1. Hi, my GF has a 3 year old HP-Notebook with a single 8GB Stick and i have a Acer Nitro 5 which i bought last year, came with 2x8GB 3200MHz CL22 Sticks which are only clocking to 2933MHz CL22 so i thought im going to give her my 2x8 Kit and im going to buy myself a new kit (i was going for aesthetics too) (even if you dont see it) so i bought myself 2x8GB 3000MHz CL16 from G.Skill, after i build them in theyre only clocking to 2666MHz CL19 and theres no XMP setting in my BIOS, i have the impression that i lost some frames and that gaming and overall performance isnt that snappy anymore as it was before, is there a huge difference between 2933 CL22 and 2666 CL19 or am i just imagining things? I'm asking because im thinking of giving her the G.Skill sticks and taking back my original sticks.
  2. @Mateyyy I played some Games and left the PC running nearly the whole day long, Temps under load never went above 68 degrees celsius.
  3. @Mateyyy I havent tested full load yet. I'm using HWiNFO64.
  4. Are these Temps in Idle high for a Ryzen 7 5800X? Temps are Fluctuating sometimes, from 28 Degrees to 50 in Idle, Voltage is around 0,9V to 1,4V. Cooler is a Fractal S36 Celsius 360 AIO with Arctic P12 Fans, pump is set to Auto.
  5. yesterday i finished my Ryzen 5000 build. Everytime i restart or power on one Case Fan stops spinning for 1-2 seconds then powers on again and works normal after this, i already tried 2 different headers on the board, same problem, do i need to worry about that? Otherwise the System is running fine. Specs: Case: Corsair 275R Airflow Mobo: Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X Cooler: Fractal S36 Celsius with 3x Arctic P120 Fans GPU: RX 6800 PSU: Seasonic Focus PX-850W SSD: 1TB NVMe SanDisk SSD: 2TB Sata-SSD SanDisk Case Fans: 3x Corsair AF120 Red
  6. @Skiiwee29 @mariushm @kewtz i used the butter knife method and i straightened the pin out, atleast i cant see anything bent anymore.
  7. I have a slightly bent pin on my cpu, can i install it like that when my mobo arrives?
  8. Could Cable Extensions cause the Problem too?
  9. @DoctorNick Tried A2. No luck. CPU is mounted the right way.
  10. @DoctorNick I did what you recommended, i even took all parts out and did the bios update without an CPU, Assembled everything again and still wont post, still no signal. 0d error code is not showing anymore, 00 is displayed now.
  11. @DoctorNick Doing that now. @boggy77 They are in 2 and 4.
  12. Yesterday i completed my new Build which wont Post (No Signal) and Shows an 0d error code on mobo after successfully (i think) updating the BIOS. What can i do to get my System running? Fans are all Spinning. 13. I had the Corsair 275R Airflow for my last Build. Really easy to Build in, lots of Space, very good Temps (i9-9900K, RTX 2080 Ti).
  14. Hello, i'm using an Corsair H100X with Noctua NF-P12 Fans at the moment (i9-9900K) but i want to upgrade to an H150i Pro and i dont want to use the stock fans that come with it (ML-120 2400RPM), can i use NF-P12 Fans for the H150i Pro too even they have a max RPM of 1700?
  15. Hey, i just finished building my first PC yesterday. Now i noticed some strangely high and impossible Numbers when checking temps and fan speeds with different programs, some Fans show RPMs up to over 50000 RPM and one CPU Temp Parameter shows -3 degrees Celsius, The CPU Fans are showing over 4000 RPM which isnt possible too, max. is 1700rpm. Is there something to worry about with the Temps and wrong Fan Speeds or is it okay? otherwise the build runs just fine. attached is a txt file which i saved from OpenHardwareMonitor. 16. Hey guys, so i'm coming from a Pre-Built PC that i took apart despite still having warranty because im not happy with it. I want to move all components to a new Case with better Airflow and replace the GPU to a better one because the noise level is driving me nuts. i'm going to list everything down below, are there any compatibility issues with my ,,new" Build? Specs of Pre-Build: Thermaltake V200 TG RGB Case with 6x 120mm Fans (3 Intake, 1 exhaust, 2 exhaust on top, all were very weak even on full speed) Intel Core i9-9900K with Enermax LiqTech TR4 II 280mm 32GB RAM Crucial Ballistix Sport LT (4x 8GB) Nvidia MSI Aero RTX 2080 Ti (Blower) MSI Z370 A-Pro Motherboard 600w Thermaltake Smart RGB PSU 1TB Crucial NVMe M2 SSD 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm HDD New Build: Corsair 275R Airflow Case with 4x Corsair AF120mm Fans (3 intake, 1 exhaust) Intel Core i9-9900K with Noctua NH-D15 Cooler 32GB RAM Crucial Ballistix Sport LT (4x 8GB) Gigabyte RTX 2080 Ti Gaming OC MSI Z370 A-Pro Motherboard Corsair RM850x 850w PSU Fully Modular 1TB Crucial NVMe M2 SSD 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm HDD Are the 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan enough? should i be worried about the RAM Height and Size of the CPU Cooler?
  17. @Fasauceome @jones177 @tdkid @RAS_3885 @merced175 will a Corsair RM850x 80+ Gold be enough? i spent the last 2 days taking the prebuilt apart and im making my own Build out of it now even though i still have warranty.
  18. @Fasauceome Yeah it looks exactly like that.
  19. @jones177 @merced175 @RAS_3885 @Fasauceome Its a Prebuilt PC that came with a Blower RTX 2080 Ti from MSI that strangely you cant buy anywhere in my Country (Germany) except on Sites from the US or Turkey..? you can only find info on it on the Chinese MSI Website and im not happy with it anymore because its way too loud and hot, thats why im desperately looking for a replacement and something more silent, so to say, Power Limit with the blower was 100 % and it never ,,sucked“ more than 250w, shouldnt it be enough if i power limit the Gigabyte too? Im not planning on overclocking anything, i was and am satisfied with the performance but the noise under load from the blower is unbearable, i cant take it anymore. My other Specs are: 32GB 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM i9-9900K Watercooled with Enermax LiqTech II 280mm 1TB Crucial NVMe M2 SSD 2TB Seagate HDD 7200rpm MSI Z-370 Motherboard
  20. Hey, is it possible that i can use this GPU -> Gigabyte RTX 2080 Ti Gaming OC with an Thermaltake 600w Smart RGB 80 Plus (not Bronze or Gold or anything) PSU? Thanks in advance.
  21. Hey, this ones kinda hard to explain but i'll add a pic too so you can see what i mean so, i recently bought a pre-build PC with some parts still missing that i build in yesterday, like a HDD, off i went and bought a Seagate Firecuda SSHD 3,5 Inch, the Case Manufacturer advertises the Case with two SSD Mounts and two 3,5 Inch HDD Mounts, no brackets or something are included and none were delivered from the manufacturer which partly build the PC for me. so i take a look at the case and see only 3 holes for screws on one side where i could ,,attach" the HDD to, i did that and im not really satisfied with the outcome because the HDD is a little bit wobbly if you apply some force and doesnt even touch the left side (seen in pic) where i could like add a bracket and screws so there a lot of space, what can i do about it, heres a pic of the manual and thats how i did it, is there anything i can do about it or shouldnt i be worried? My Case is a Aerocool Bolt Midi-Tower.
  22. @Bombastinator @DarkSmith2 @Bcat00 @Gegger @Tristerin @Austin.j.porterfield @Dean.P. Hey! I almost forgot about my post here, so, yeah, i've been using the PC since nearly a month now and i must say that i'm really happy with it Performance-wise, it's a beast, so to say. sure it's a blower card, but i don't have any problems with thermal throttle or something like that, and when im not working im playing a good 6-8 hours a day on weekends and the temperature of the 2080 Ti always hovers around 78 degrees Celsius and the fan noise isn't so bad after all, i have a feeling that it was louder for the first days of heavy usage. Nothing compared to the GTX 760 OC Blower that i had as a replacement card in my old System that i used until 2017. that thing was really loud and since i sold it in 2017 i was switching from a Laptop with a 1060 that i sold which did thermal throttle really bad to a Tower with an 1080 which i ended up selling too for the Tower with the 2080 Ti and i'm not planning on selling it haha.
  23. @Gegger Thank you!
  24. @Gegger @Bcat00 i already contacted the seller and i was told that its identical in performance. the reason i asked on this forum is because i thought it was a fake card with a flashed BIOS or something like that. I have the System up and running since Saturday and i'm pretty satisfied with how it runs, even with the single fan it maintains 74-78 degrees celsius while gaming on Ultra Settings and 144hz, not more. Sure it's a bit louder with the single fan but not too much.
