    Hello to everyone, I am currently looking for a suitable PSU for my 2U server build. My case will be the IPC Storage 2U-2404L from Inter-Tech (If you find a good alternative for the same price let me know). As PSU I need about 350 watt with a fan on the front or back, otherwise the fan would be covered by a sheet of metal. Can anyone recommend a good power supply with the above characteristics? Thanks in advance Update: I have now simply used a SFX power supply with an ATX adapter. So the power supply has a little more space and the fan is not completely covered

    Yeah, thats what I thought, too. I have about 40 sticks of ddr3 laying around but no one worked... Thanks alot

    Yes, if it would support ECC there would be no problem xD. Latest bios is flashed and also no overclocking applied. But thanks a lot.

    I tryed it with 4. But then always one channel (2 slots) is dead. If I go with 2 dimms every channel is working. I know its not officially supported, but can this be the reason only one channel is working at once

    All of the pins are checked. But i havent reset it each time. I will try that. Thank you

    Im using 2 older no-name sticks. They are identical. I also tryed it with a couple of sticks from samsung, hynix and also hp-labeled ones.

    Hey guys, I have a Problem with my Mainboard. Only 2 of my 4 memory slots are working. At first I thought Its a dead memory channel, but there is a little problem. Whenever I change the dimms to the other ports it does work and both of the other channels are dead. Has anyone an idea? BTW, Im German, hope everything is understandable. CPU: Intel Xeon e31245 Mainboard: Asus P8Z77-M
