The 10980xe will be worse than the 9980xe and definitely worse than a 7980xe, ipc actually decreases and so does performance due to the hardware patches. But of course you're talking about buying a X299 Master(lol) and think the 9900K draws more power than a 10980xe. Damn, you smart.
