alright so, my PC is running an R5 2600 on an MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC with 2x8gb sticks of HyperX ram with an old GTX 660. I've had this system for a lil over a year (the GPU is an older second hand one that I've had in here for around a month or 2). i used to have a Cooler Master 550w MWE Gold psu in there but i RMA'd it after some trouble. now I'm still running into the same problems with my new 2021 Corsair RM650x. my problem is basically that my PC won't turn on at all. no fans, nothing. i also have an old random psu from a Dell prebuilt that i plugged into my PC to see if it was the psu that was faulty. and when i did, the PC turned on fine. so i sent the MWE 550 back and got my new one. now after having this new one work perfectly fine for a few days it too has just stopped powering on the pc with it behaving the exact same as the MWE 550. so my question is: Is it possible that having these PSUs plugged into my mobo for a lil while killed them? and is that even possible? or is my mobo the problem? i sadly don't have a psu tester yet (stupid slow shipping from China lol) so i haven't been able to test whether it's a problem with the voltages. if any more info is required then I'd be more than happy to provide. i just wanna get back up n running tbh lol
update: after testing my RM650x on a random test bench PC i had laying around it turns out the psu still works perfectly fine. so would it be reasonable to assume that the mobo is the culprit here? I'd rather not take the entire PC apart, send a part back, get a new part, only to have it still not work.
also, sorry for the long read
