  1. I forgot to say that but I have 4 DDR3 rams that i've been testing multiple time, with and without. When I mean "No POST" I mean nothing appears on the screen I bought a pentium to make sure it wasn't a CPU problem. Since the sabertooth p67 accepts a Pentium G2020, i bought a super cheap one on ebay just to test. But using that pentium I had the same issue so I thought it was a motherboard fault. I got a new motherboard for the i7 and the problem persists.....
  2. My old PC was not booting and I decided to order a few parts in order to find the problem. Old CPU: i7 2600k Old board: Asus Sabertooth P67 Ebay CPU: Intel Pentium G2020 Ebay Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H67MA-USB3-B3 Graphics: none RAM: G.Skill DDR3 4GB x 4 I've just installed all the parts in a new Micro ATX case and it's still not booting. I thought the problem was the motherboard. I tested it with both CPU's on the new Gigabyte board and the CPU fan spins at max speed but no POST. I'm also testing with and without RAM, a single dimm at a time Could this be a Power supply issue? But I also tested all the pins voltage and they look fine pin voltage 1 3.44 13 3.44 2 3.44 14 11.7 4 5 6 5 9 5 21 12 10 12.11 22 5 11 12.11 23 5 12 3.44 cpu pins: all 12.12V What is wrong?
  3. Ok, good to know. But imagine the same video but with a cooler, the cpu led would still be on and it wouldn't POST
  4. Let me explain, I tried multiple times with the heatsink on and then I tried without it. I was careful to check if the cpu was getting hot (stuck my finger right to it) and was ready to cut of the power. The thing is the cpu wasn't even getting hot whatsoever. This was just to check if the pressure from the heatsink could be doing something. I just wanted to get rid of the CPU led
  5. Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth P67 CPU:Intel i7 2600k A couple of months ago my PC stopped booting and the motherboard CPU LED was red. Now I got a stock cooler just to try a different setup and the pc turned on. I was happy but I restarted it and now I still have the CPU LED turned red. The following video is my trying to POST barebones: https://youtu.be/u7vZOYeCItg I don't know what is happening, if the CPU or the motherboard is busted. I feel the CPU can't be busted because it turned on a couple of hours ago and it successfully POSTED into the BIOS. EDIT: I wasn't running the cpu without an heatsink, this was my last attempt to see if I could get rid of the CPU led turning on (maybe due to the heatsink pressure). I was not successful
