  1. It was the PSU. The 3,3V rail was fucked, the SSD didn't get enough (or not stable enough) juice for sudden stuff (like alt-tabbing out and opening a browser) so it crashed the system. I bought a used Corsair 600W (B tier, according to psu tier list) and I didn't crash with it yet. If I think about it, my old psu was almost 6 years old, and it was a cheap one even back then.
  2. New Cmos battery, clean Bios xmp turned off, I hope it's my PSU and not my CPU Meanwhile I found out that my 3,3V rail only has ~2,35V
  3. I7 7700 H170 pro gaming 16G Kingston @2400 MSI 1070 Sea Hawk Sabrent Rocket 512G 500W Zalman PSU (Maybe 500W-s aint enough? Then why didn't it crash while both the CPU and GPU were running on 100%?)
  4. Clean, from USB image. No OC, not even stock Turbo
  5. Hi! I'm constantly getting BSODs while playing games.(New World atm.) It goes away so fast I can't even read the error code, but it's probably WHEA Eventlog: volmgr 161 error then Kernel-power 41 Didn't work: Reinstall, chkdsk, sfc /scannow, memtest, any paging file option Drivers are up to date. Did 10-15mins of 100% cpu&gpu stresstest without BSOD. (80C & 60C), voltages were fine. Win 10 pro, 21H1, 19043.1266 What can cause such behavior? Is it a faulty RAM or Mobo?
  6. Hi! For some reason I have 50-60 FPS drops in some games like Valheim and LoL. (from 150 to 90 fps and so.) What can cause such behavior? My CPU is at 50-60%, running stable 60C, my GPU is running literally below 10% all the time under 50C (Yes, the game is running on the dedicated GPU) All my drivers are up to date, running Win11 pre build (I had the same issues before upgrading to 11) Specs: I7 7700, 1070 8G, 16G ram Nvidia Game Ready driver ver. 471.11
  7. Anyone? I still couldn't figure out what makes this strange behaviour
  8. Hi! I'm having tons of trouble with my 970 evo constantly crashing in specific games. In these games: Fortnite, Valheim, Simcity my pc randomly freezes with my C:\ drive having 100% usage. (even tho it's usage is only a few KB/S) Latest firmware, drivers ect. ect. Samsung Magician, HDD Sentinel and Crystal Disk Mark says that the drive is totally fine and healthy. (90+GB free out of 250)
  9. I have an external soundcard, but that's not noisy at all. It's just the USB mic. My PSU is kinda on the budget side, It's a Zalman GS500? idk, something like that. I made a cable which has separate Data and Power In-s. Data side into the PC, Power side into a powerbank and the noise is 90% gone. It's finally usable. Not the perfect solution, but it's working.
  10. Update: The noise "changes" when running FurMark. It's not louder, it's like I can hear the thing ramp and down.
  11. Hi! I just bought a new USB mic. It's a Superlux E205U MK2. First I tried it with my laptop, 0 noise, great sound ect. ect, but when I plug it into my desktop it has a loud low pitched noise which gets louder when I'm using my mouse. It's not my mouse's fault, because when I completely unplug every peripheral, it still has the humm, but a bit quieter. I'm not sure what to do. Is it a groundloop? If yes, how can I eliminate that? I've tried different USB plugs, front/back even my monitor's USB outs.
  12. Here's the "crashy" screen. Now It's only happening when Windows is starting, (Loading the user), or totally randomly
  13. Yeah, bought 2 days ago. Tried another cable, (Lenovo branded) It seems to be a bit better, but still unstable.
  14. 16GB G.Skill Aegis, @3000 withXMP Silentium Elementum E2 550W I'll try clearing the CMOS, and get that "crashy" looking screen.
  15. Other specs? Like the software versions? Current catalyst driver: 19.20 Windows 10 home, 10.0.19041.388 I'll try to get it on camera, but it's kinda hard since it immideatly drops the signal after that kind of "error". Temps are ~30-40 idle, Furmark ran well, didn't overheat, (max temp 62) Edit: I've used DDU for the driver uninstallation, like 2-3 times.
  16. Hello! I've just bought a entry-level PC for one of my friends. I3-10100, MSI armor RX470 4G, Gigabyte H410M-H The problem is that somewhy the TV/Monitor keeps losing the signal, or displays a relly weird "crashy" looking picture. I'm kind of sure that it's not the card's fault since it has no problems in the BIOS or Linux. What should I do? Send it back in warrianty? Install an older driver?
  17. RAM isn't a problem til' it's upgradeable. I'd use the tablet mode for program sketches, and ofc for "fun", like emulating an anroid and playing on it. But yeah, was thinking about the same. I'm a Dell fan afterall
  18. Hi! I'm going to university in September, I'll need a laptop which will serve me well in the tasks I'll mention later. I'll study IT, will probably write a lot so a good keyboard is important. Same goes w/ the screen. I don't really need 4K at this size, but dont mind having it . I currently have a Latitude E6520, a "vintage" """beast""". It's really well built, have good IO (For that time ofc). It's not snail-slow, I5 2520M, upgraded to 8G ram, SSD but it's old enough to not have a useful IGPU. I didn't search/ Include gaming options since most of them have bad keyboards, plastic cases or just look too "gamery" for me. My budget is not clear yet, but i'm willing to pay around ~1500 or ~1100 USD (Depending on how much can I get through this summer.) All laptops below are used!, My budget probably won't allow me to buy these things or anything decent new. They're all barely used. My desktop is equipped with a I7 7700, 16G and a 1070 8G I'd like to have similar performance on the go, but I'm sure thats impossible for this price. For ~1,1K$: I can get a Surface Book 2 13", or a XPS 15 (2 models) SB2 13": I7-8650U | 1050 2GB | 8GB RAM | 256GB SSD | 4K Touch XPS 15 9560: I7-7700HQ | 1050 4GB | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD | FHD IGZO IPS "non touch" XPS 15 9570: I7-8750H | 1050Ti 4GB | 8GB RAM | 512GB SSD | FHD IPS "non touch" For: ~1,5K$ SB2 15": I7-8650U | 1060 6GB | 16GB RAM | 256GB SSD | 4K Touch XPS 15 7590: I7-9570H | 1650 4GB | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD | FHD IPS "non touch" The question is basically Surface Book 2 or XPS 15 There are some Razer Blades at this pricepoint, but i've read that they stop working "quite fast" so i didn't include them here. I've found some Surface Laptops aswell but they don't have dedicated graphics. The site I'm searching on is: https://hardverapro.hu/aprok/notebook/pc/index.html I'm kind of sure you won't understand anything but the model numbers, but hopefully Google translate will help you. (1100$ = 310000-340000 HUF , 1500$ = 460000 HUF)
  19. Why did i write stuttering holy... Yeah myb. It's tearing.
  20. I have 2 Sandisk 120G low-end SSD-s for games. But for example Minecraft is running off a Samsung M.2 so disk shouldn't be the problem here. 7700 can't be overlocked as far as i know, the GPU is OC-d by default. Nvidia drivers and Windows is up to date. I'll try downloading Afterburner since it's a MSI card, maybe that'll help
  21. Hi! I'm experiencing pretty noticeable shuttering in every game. What can cause an issue like that? It can't be the lack of frames since games like Roblox or L4D2 are shuttering aswell with over 100+ constant FPS. I7 7700 1070 OC 16G ram Monitor: Philips 22pfh4000/88 It's a TV/Monitor combo, kinda budget. Connected via HDMI. 60Hz.
  22. GTA 5 runs pretty good, but it shutters, but that must be my monitor. Anything "really demanding" i play is shuttering like hell.
  23. Weird, but now it's on my Samsung M.2, Fairly stable 60 with some drops. I think the CPU couldn't handle loading the map from this garbage HDD and "playing" at once. It's still weird that i hace drops with "low" settings, but it's a lot better now.
  24. GPU: 10-15% usage, CPU: between 50-70 (100 in the first few seconds because of map loading) RAM: 12G (that 8Gigs are preallocated so it's not using 8Gigs constantly.) Can it be the Disk? I'm running it on an old-ass WD Blue.
