  5. Edit 2: The server also does not have Windows Activated which may be the issue?
  6. Edit: When running the server through a bat file and using pause as a paramater, this is the message: C:\Users\Dedicated-Server\Desktop\1.16.1 PORT>java -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M -jar server.jar nogui Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for 2097152KB object heap C:\Users\Dedicated-Server\Desktop\1.16.1 PORT>pause Press any key to continue . . .
  7. I am trying to run a Minecraft server on one of my computers and keep getting an error. The server works fine on my main PC but not on the server PC. Everything is exactly the same except the Java version is newer on the server. I am using the ZeroTier One API to create a virtual network. This works fine on the desktop but not the server. My network is set up as follows, and then i have pasted the full error log (with my IP redacted). If anyone has experience with Java or Minecraft servers could you please suggest a fix as i have looked pretty much everywhere! Only the things in bold could be a problem, but i included the full network. NBN Moden > Nighthawk Router > TP Link Powerline Adapater (from 1 cable to 3 pc's, never had an issue with it) > Dlink Network Switch > PC & Server PC Full pasted error: [04:34:56] [main/WARN]: Ambiguity between arguments [teleport, location] and [teleport, destination] with inputs: [0.1 -0.5 .9, 0 0 0] [04:34:56] [main/WARN]: Ambiguity between arguments [teleport, location] and [teleport, targets] with inputs: [0.1 -0.5 .9, 0 0 0] [04:34:56] [main/WARN]: Ambiguity between arguments [teleport, targets] and [teleport, destination] with inputs: [Player, 0123, dd12be42-52a9-4a91-a8a1-11c01849e498] [04:34:56] [main/WARN]: Ambiguity between arguments [teleport, targets, location] and [teleport, targets, destination] with inputs: [0.1 -0.5 .9, 0 0 0] [04:34:56] [main/INFO]: Reloading ResourceManager: Default [04:34:56] [Worker-Main-5/INFO]: Loaded 7 recipes [04:34:56] [Worker-Main-5/INFO]: Loaded 927 advancements [04:34:58] [Server thread/INFO]: Starting minecraft server version 1.16.1 [04:34:58] [Server thread/WARN]: To start the server with more ram, launch it as "java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar" [04:34:58] [Server thread/INFO]: Loading properties [04:34:58] [Server thread/INFO]: Default game type: SURVIVAL [04:34:58] [Server thread/INFO]: Generating keypair [04:34:58] [Server console handler/ERROR]: Exception handling console input java.io.IOException: The handle is invalid at java.io.FileInputStream.readBytes(Native Method) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at java.io.FileInputStream.read(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read1(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at sun.nio.cs.StreamDecoder.readBytes(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at sun.nio.cs.StreamDecoder.implRead(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at sun.nio.cs.StreamDecoder.read(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at java.io.InputStreamReader.read(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at java.io.BufferedReader.fill(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at java.io.BufferedReader.readLine(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at java.io.BufferedReader.readLine(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_261] at yd$1.run(SourceFile:90) [server.jar:?] [04:34:58] [Server thread/INFO]: Starting Minecraft server on x.x.x.x:25565 (Redacted) [04:34:58] [Server thread/INFO]: Using default channel type [04:34:58] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing level "world" [04:34:59] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing start region for dimension minecraft:overworld [04:35:02] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:02] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:02] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:02] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:02] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:02] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:02] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:02] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:04] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:04] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:04] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:04] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 0% [04:35:07] [Server thread/INFO]: Time elapsed: 8133 ms [04:35:07] [Server thread/INFO]: Done (8.221s)! 8. My LG G6 has progressively gotten worse with a now contant water in USB port warning message. It has never been near water. I have tried scraping the lint out of the port, blown the port with compressed air, and even tried disabling notifications in the Android OS to no evail. The only solution so far is that after plugging in the charger and being prompted with vibrations and an on screen warning, right after i pull out the charger and the notification below the pop-up dissaperas for around 3 seconds, i can plug in my charger and it works perfectly fine? It makes absolutely no sense and will charge to 100% as long as i do this. Are there any solutions to this probelm. I really dont care about the risk of damage in the future as the message is clearly wrong in this case.
  9. It's been going for 2 hours and only at 2% consolidated... fml
  10. Another thing thats probably unrelated is that after 5 mins being afk from my pc, disk usage is 100% but there are no services in task manage doing anything?
  11. 16GB at 3600Mhz CL16 and Samsung 860 Evo for boot, Samsung 3TB HDD for games mostly
  12. Pretty much all the time. After 30 mins it stops in the main menu, bot otherwise around 5 - 50mb/s
  13. No matter what i do in COD MW my HDD is being used and pinned to 100%. It fluctuates between 5 and 50mb/s of reading. Is this normal. The drive is very noisy even though my CrystalDiskInfo says it's fine, so it's just annoying. Any fix?
  14. Galax is trash and most 2080 Super's are around $1500. $2000 barley gets into the range of 2080ti's
  15. My Vega 64 was overheating to 105c on the Hot Spot so i decided to do a routine thermal paste replacement. Not sure what i did wrong but after plugging it in there were massive artifacts on the screen (bars) and after taking everything apart again it wouldn't even post. Right now i'm using a Radeon X300SE that i literally found in the garbage, so at least i can use my PC, but being paired with a 3900x, it's less than ideal. I have around $2000AUD to buy a new card which is around about 2080 Super pricing. I was thinking, should i just get a cheap 5700XT which has the same performance as my Vega 64, and in the future sell it for a new RTX card or big Navi, or should i get a 2080 Super and keep it untill i finish university in 4 years?
  16. Out of the blue my windows Films & TV application has started to lag and stutter. Every time i open a video, regardless of file size of resolution, it will freeze for 1 second and then fast forward to the correct time, then stuttering and freezing continuously through playback. I have not changed any settings and it has just randomly started. Here's a list of what i've tried: Updating drivers Windows updates Ryzen power plans (High Performance) In addition, here's my hardware: AMD 3900x (4.2Ghz OC 1.275v) Corsair 16GB 3600Mhz CL 18 AMD Vega 64 LC (1780Mhz)
  17. But i'm really not sure that 1.45v and 70c idle is safe when i can dial in 1.20v and get 60c under load.
  18. I think i fixed it. Apparently the voltage is literally just stupidly high out of the factory. It's now 61c under load.
  19. My new Ryzen 3900X and X570 Pro from Asus arrived today. Out of the box, the voltages were insane and temps were idle 60c. I briefly watched a JayzTwoCents video on overclocking to find out stock voltages and tried to apply them in the bios. This did not work as the Peak Core(s) Voltage in Ryzen Master was 1.45v. I then set it to 1.2v and temps dropped to 43c idle. What is the best way to set the proper voltages (bios vs Ryzen Master) and what should they be?
  20. The HDD was used in a school's storage server for 3 or 4 years before i got it for free. It's rated for 8760 Hrs (365days 24/7) powered on per year with a 5 year warranty. It's currently well under that at 9226 Hrs.
  21. I currently have a 500GB Samsung 860 Evo which has written 47TB of data and read 65TB of data. I also have a 3TB Seagate Constellation ES.2 ST33000650NS which has read 341TB of data and written 98TB of data. How long will both these storage devices last before they die?
  22. Mines stable at 1050 at State 7 and 1000 at State 6
  23. I have it set on 30%. Should i only increase it if i get instability?
  24. Tried again with a manual undervolt, lost about 5 - 10 FPS and 100 - 200 Mhz but temps are 50c on the core and 69c for the hot spot.
  25. Anyone know if the hotspot on my Vega 64 is concerining? I'm running default AMD settings with a higher fan RPM and +50% power limit. Under load, with a powercolor aio, the card hits 65c on the core with a hotspot of 92c even though i replaced the thermal paste yesterday. Could this be my installation of the aio? I did the corner with the warranty sticker first, then the diagonal across and then the other two screws, so i don't think it was my application of the aio back on, or the thermal paste as i used a lot. I've attached a HWinfo of my temps.
