I currently use my oculus quest fully stock and after a long session usually, my face is fully red and it causes me to break out easily. It also is slightly uncomfortable Would the silicone face cover prevent my face from having red marks after a session?

I have a 2013 21.5 iMac and It is currently on Mac OS Mojave. it is very slow and lags a lot and will freeze sometimes when typing or when I open an application even just safari. Would updating the machine to Mac OS Catalina have any performance improvements or make the machine run even slower?

I know final cut pro x really well and I've decided to give premier pro a try

I currently am trying to get to professional in Final Cut Pro. I have a passion for film and every day Im trying to learn more about editing. I currently have a 2017 13 base model MacBook Pro. This machine had worked well with small projects. When I had stepped up to do more edits and more advanced things the machine was not able to keep up. It would have the red circle appear and it would take a while to load. Rendering and exporting also takes a good amount of time. Im wondering what would be a good machine to upgrade to. I am planning on selling my current machine for around $750.00. I am willing to spend around a maximum of $1600 for a new machine whether it be used or refurbished. I would love to hear suggestions of a good machine for me to get. I would prefer having a desktop.

Premier pro is a lot different than final cut and is a monthly subscription sadly

I currently have a MacBook Pro 13 2017 base model. the graphics on it are not good they are intel iris 640. I am forced to play through geforce now due to only having 128gb of storage and don't have nearly enough to download even one game! with what I have on my computer. I usually can only run games such as Fortnite on low all on 30-50 fps. im thinking about selling it in a few months for 2 reasons. 1- I want much better performance in final cut pro 2- better performance whenever im gaming ( I would get a pc but video editing with Final Cut Pro is more important to me) Im wondering what it be a better option for me to sell my 13 2017 base model MacBook Pro for a 2017 15 MacBook Pro with a rx 560 and or a iMac 27 with a rx 570x. Or I could buy more dongles and get a external gpu? what would everyone recommend me doing. I cannot get a pc or build one as it does not have Final Cut Pro.

do you know how much of a gpu improvement their is between the two models? If I were to get the 2020 model I would get the base model. I don't plan on paying much for a new machine

Im trying to get myself immersed into the software and gain as much experience as I can. I have noticed a lot when editing with my current Mac that the red circle will come out a lot when editing in final cut and it will sometimes freeze. Would upgrading to the 2020 MacBook Pro 13 be worth it?

I have been using a mason single with 2 usb 3.0 ports and hdmi port after a year of use today it suddenly stopped working every time I plug in my keyboard and mouse into the dongle they don’t work and I’m not sure why

If I were to get it I would be video editing and playing games on the side

do you know if the fusion drive in the iMac is much slower compared to an ssd?

is the iMacs fusion drive slow? compared to a ssd in a MacBook Pro? I could sacrifice a rx 570x for a rx 560 on the laptop for a 512gb ssd instead of a rx 570x and 1 tb fusion drive on the iMac 27 is the fusion drive terribly slow?

Because I’m trying to get more responses to better understand which one to get
