  1. Would this work? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Splitter-Computer-Converter-Sleeved-Braided-Black/dp/B01N1Z3FYD/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=pc+fan+splitter&qid=1571639688&sr=8-3
  2. So no problems running off a splitter then because i've heard it doesn't always work
  3. If it is DC, is it even worth getting a new fan? Could i use a splitter to run off the PWM enabled CPU fan header
  4. I'm not sure, the manual just says they are 4 pin, so you would assume yes because you can also run a 3 pin although I can't control 3 pin speed. But people are saying PWM is only supported on all fans in the 100 series
  5. There are no 3 pin headers. It's not that loud but I'd like to have something close to silence. They're going at about 800-1000rpm. I've tried changing the fan settings in the BIOS to "silent" but they don't seem to do anything so maybe its just for pwm?
  6. I'm planning on upgrading the fans in my PC to Corsair MLs as my find my current non PWM fans are too loud. I know the Gigabyte has a spare 4 pin slot for a rear fan, however I've had conflicting advice on whether it is actually PWM enabled or not. Can anyone confirm that a PWM fan will work in PWM mode? Alternatively can I run a splitter from the CPU 4 pin and run a PWM fan and the CPU fan from there? Thanks
