  1. I suppose you're right, I was overthinking it. It's actually a lot better like this, thanks again
  2. Thanks, that did it. So I assume I used it wrong the whole time, weird that it worked in the past. So there's literally no downside to use this setup?
  3. thanks, so I assume my existing setup is correct?
  4. Shouldn't it be like that? The C1 only has 1 eARC port (HDMI 2), so I wouldn't be able to get eARC support on both the shield and PS5, correct me if I'm wrong. When I first got the TV, I tried it your way and had some issues iirc.
  5. Hello, I have an LG C1 and my soundbar is the LG SN10Y. I have 2 devices: PS 5 Nvidia Shield Pro For some reason, the PS 5 does not enable VRR anymore and I don't know why, but I know it worked a couple of weeks ago. The setup is like this: Soundbar eARC -- > TV HDMI 2 (eARC). On Soundbar, HDMI 1 is Nvidia Shield, and HDMI 2 is the PS 5. Up until now I was just setting the soundbar to eARC, and then on my TV's remote I can choose the source I want (shield or ps5). This is still the case, but now I can't enable VRR. Some more details: Enabled eARC in TV settings Digital sound output is on auto (tried Passthrough as well) Soundbar and TV on latest firmwares. Soundbar is on eARC mode HDMI Input Audio is set to Bitstream Things I tried already: I plugged my PS5 directly to the TV, with 2 different cables and VRR works like that. So it seems to me like the soundbar is the issue. I reset my TV's settings. Tried to un-plug everything. I don't know what else I should do. Any help would be appreciated
  6. Thank you, I did that and edited the post to reflect my changes. I get no sound still, not sure what I'm missing.
  7. Hello everyone, I need help understanding what I'm doing wrong. I have: LG C1 LG SN10Y Soundbar PS5 Nvidia Shield Pro 3x HDMI 2.1 cables. I connected them like this: Soundbar eARC -- > TV HDMI 1 (eARC). PS5 --> TV HDMI 2 (Also eARC) Nvidia Shield --> TV HDMI 4 on the back of the TV (Also eARC) Settings: Enabled eARC in TV settings Sound output is on auto (tried Passthrough as well) Soundbar and TV on latest firmwares. Soundbar is on eARC mode (tried HDMI1/2 also) I don't get sound from either the PS5 or the Nvidia Shield. When I plug the PS5 and Shield to the soundbar, everything works fine, but then my PS5 says it doesn't support VRR. I don't know what else to do, am I missing something?
  8. Hello everyone, trying to help a friend remotely, but wasn't able to find a solution. Issue: When he opens Discord and tries to make a voice call, it says "routing" and then "rtc connecting", but eventually it gives up and says "no route". Same happens on his phone when connected to the Wifi. When using LTE it works, so we I guess it's nothing local on his PC/phone. What we tried: Clearing DNS cache Manually setting the DNS server on his adapter to 8.8.8.8. Changing the DNS in his router to 8.8.8.8 instead of his ISP's IP. Various winsock commands. The weird thing is, when I use his ISP's DNS to resolve discord.gg, I get: ~ dig @213.57.2.5 discord.gg ; <<>> DiG 9.16.1-Ubuntu <<>> @213.57.2.5 discord.gg ; (1 server found) ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got answer: ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: REFUSED, id: 45925 ;; flags: qr rd; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 1 ;; WARNING: recursion requested but not available ;; OPT PSEUDOSECTION: ; EDNS: version: 0, flags:; udp: 512 ; COOKIE: 9589d57594f7572e8bdedfc3635d0e2fe7d58c339348d18e (good) ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;discord.gg. 9. Found the issue. Unplugged the GPU power connector and it turned on. I was plugged in to the motherboard's display anyway, but at least it works now.
  10. Hello, I have a PC which was working great up until I tried to boot in safe mode. After that, it doesn't output any display on my monitor anymore. I don't even have a BIOS prompt, no Windows logo loading, no POST, nothing. A few things I tried and checked: The monitor works, I plugged in my laptop with an HDMI cable and it works. I tried both HDMI and VGA, both don't show anything. Tried unplugging the power cable, holding the power button for 30 seconds, then turning it on again, nothing change.d I tried pulling out the CMOS battery, waited a few minutes before inserting it in, no change. Even tried booting without it. I unplugged the SSD (the only one in this PC), even tried booting it while unplugged, but no display. I swapped like 3 VGA cables, the HDMI works 100%. I even tried to plug in a different PC! Granted it's an old PC and I don't know when it was last used, but I know that it should work. I unplugged all peripherals. I tried randomly pressing on F12, F2, F8, Del, Home, and other buttons to maybe boot into BIOS somehow. Nothing happens. Some "clues" or other information: When I power off the PC, it instantly power offs, so it seems like it doesn't even load into Windows. Keyboard is USB, mouse has a PS2 connection. Both seem to light up (Mouse has an LED on it, the keyboard responds to num lock presses for example). PC Hardware Trying my best but can't exactly remember the components other than: Some H97 Gigabyte motherboard. GTX 560 Ti I think i5 4460, not sure. Samsung EVO 800 (830?) SSD. I'm really out of ideas, what can be done in this situation?
  11. I bought a basic double monitor mount, but my desk is somewhat big and my monitors are not very flexible as to their location. I feel like they are too far away. Both of my screens are 27" so if I try to bring them closer, they just reach a point where one would overlap the other. With that being said, I would love for a recommendation for a double monitor desk mount that can fit both of my screens with more room for adjusting how close it is. Maybe a mount that can fit larger screens? Thanks
  12. Thank you all, I just wanted to make sure that paste is indeed included. I ordered the fan.
  13. Hello, I have the default cooler I got with my R5 3600. I want to improve temps and though about buying this: NOCTUA NH-U12S https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NH-U12S-chromax-Black-Single-Tower-Cooler/dp/B07Y88BNYZ It says it has preapplied paste. Would that be enough and adequate or should I buy paste separately and apply it myself? Thanks
  14. Thanks. I'll edit and add that my focus is on triple A titles in 1440p.
  15. Hello, Before I buy the 3080 I'd like to make sure I'll be able to fully utilize it. Here's my specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard: ASUS TUF B450M Plus Gaming Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Graphics Card: EVGA RTX 2070 Super Monitor(s) Displays: 27" Dell S2719DGF 144Hz Screen Resolution: 2560 x 1440 PSU: Antec EA750G Pro 750W Gold Would love to know if I can feel free to buy it, or will my CPU be a bottleneck? I'm focusing on 1440p triple A titles. Thanks
