  1. The problem is that my onboard networkcard is capping my internet speed in some applications. But it isn't capped at one speed. For example Firefox gets 130Mbit, Bethesda launcher 170Mbit and steam for some reason all 225Mbit download. My laptop is capable to get in every application full speed though. the networkspeed is 225Mbit down and 20Mbit up. However the cable does provide the full speed with no issues on my laptop. I'm using two cables with a coupler in between. The cable from the router to the coupler is a CAT5e and the second one is a CAT6. The coupler is capable of delivering the full speed. The cablelength is 35 meters. everything seems fine without the coupler. I tried diffrent ones but nothing solved the issue. trying to force the card accepting gigabit didn't work either. At this point i don't know what should i do next. Perhaps somebody can help me.
  2. So i got this HP 15 da0103ng Laptop for a year ago and this wificard drives me nuts. The wifi speed is just slow. I have 225Mbit down and 20Mbit up. My router is a fritz-box cable 6490. Speeds are stable on other systems in the network. The wifispeeds on the device are 40ish Mbit down and 10ish up but my phone gets the full speed (note 8 ). I tried playing with the settings on the device and the router but nothing worked. It is possible to get the full speeds but nor for Realteck RTL8821CE. Am i missing something or is this wifi card just sh*t. The router supports 5Ghz 802.11ac 2x2 (that's the only thing i saw) and the wificard supports 5Ghz 802.11ac 1x1 but from what i googled it doesn't matter. (if i'm informed correctly). it would be nice if someone could help me.
