  1. fluid sim i use doesnt utilize gpu at all, and its like 70% of what i do, if not more what mobo would you recommend? there are a lot i can pick from, but i hope to get the cheapest i can find that will perform well, hoping not to spend more than 300$ on that. maybe asus prime x570-p? its around 200$. theres msi x470 gaming plus max for 150$ aswell, but guessing its worth getting newer board. i have no idea what to look for in motherboard but those are one of the cheapest x470 and x570 i can find. i consider getting some nice used last gen board over something from this gen but at full retail
  2. its 14$ differance so gonna get xt i guess. and when it comes to mobo does it matter much or can i take something cheap like gigabyte b550m s2h? i probably be running 2x32gb ddr4 @3400 or 3700 at most
  3. Budget (including currency): 5000PLN (around 1350usd) Country: Poland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Adobe lightroom, premiere, blender fluid simulations and cycle renders Other details : i've got ssds and hard drives, aswell as 32gb ram(but gonna have to sell it and get 64 instead), also got case and peripherals. I'm looking to upgrade my old setup to be mostly focused on blender fluid sims(cpu heavy workload, nice to have as much threads as possible), i also render some cycles animations so rtx would be nice to have. i do some work in adobe lightroom and premiere aswell. Are lightroom and premiere gpu or cpu heavy? Should i use 2k of my budget for 3060 ti and 3k for cpu and mobo, or maybe 3070 for 3k and 2k for mobo and cpu? so pretty much the question is: 3060ti + ryzen 3900xt(or 5800x) vs 3070 + ryzen 5 5600x(or 3800xt) which is better for lightroom, premiere, blender cycles renders, blender fluid sim. i assume for blender fluid sims i would be best of with 3900xt + 3060ti, for cycles 5600x+3070, am i correct? no idea about adobe, but gonna guess better cpu for lightroom, better gpu for premiere? also if i use it only for fluid sims should i consider 1950x with 3060ti or maybe even 5950x and 1660ti?
  4. Hello guys, ive been struggling with one issue on my home network for a while now. What is happening is some things just wouldnt load at all, some only load partialy, and no idea how to deal with it. Examples of things that would load: on any android most bank apps would timeone on login screen, but its all good if i load on lte and switch to wifi when im already connected. some youtube videos dont load, but others does with no problem at all. Twitch on my pc(windows 10) works but twitch app on my mobile phone is stucked on buffering video when im on wifi, but works if i start on lte and then swap to wifi. another think is all the fandom com pages loads very slow, and only loads without any css, it works ok when im not on my home network. i tried flushing dns, doesnt help, tried switching to cloudflare dns and some others, doesnt help. would probably help if i could change settings on my router, but my ISP doesnt allow me to. on my mobile i have found a work around - im using cloudflare 1.1.1.1 "with wrap" and it just works, but still doesnt on my pc, and it still drains some battery on mobile so i would rather find some other way to deal with it. i even wanted to change my ISP but i live in rural area and the only other isp is even worse. also i just tried on my virtual machine that is running fedora, everything works there for some reason, so i know there must be some simple solution but i just couldnt find it, so please help. i tried disabling window defender and firewall - it helped with the fandom com website, but not with the youtube not loading some videos
  5. ah i didnt know that more sticks allows lower frequency. i got it to 2600Mhz for now and it seems good. maybe i will try to push it a little more later on, thanks a lot guys
  6. Hello, I've been running 2x8gb ddr4 for a longest time now, recently i've purchase another 2x8gb of the same memory, but i've run into stability issues. While gaming/web browsing my PC have been crashing(blue screen). I've tried using only 2 old memory sticks/ only 2 new sticks, and its all stable then. I dont want to mess up so i've only tried lowering frequency a little and updating uefi. What can be the problem and how can i deal with it? My mobo is not compatible with it? Motherboard: MSI B350M bazooka RAM: G.skill F4-3000C16D-16GISB 4x8gb sticks CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 Windows 10
