  1. Hey all, so I've got 2 issues here I'm struggling with that Vizio support couldn't help with either. Can't find a solution when poking around. Bought a 4k Vizio V405-G9 that can SUPPOSEDLY handle 4k @ 60 hz (and then maybe use the software to give a perceived 120hz). Confirmed it should be able to do 4k @ 60 Hz with VIZIO support I'm trying to use it as a second monitor when it's not being used for other stuff, and I've got issues. Issue #1: I can only output 4k @ 30Hz from my desktop. The TCL 4k I just swapped out for this was capable of 4k @ 30 Hz on the same HDMI cable. Issue #2: My computer seems to struggle showing 1080 youtube videos occasionally now. It'll slow down and the A/V will go out of sync as if the computer can't handle that much bandwidth. GPU and CPU usage are below 20%. Attempted Fixes: When I go into NVIDIA Control Panel to force 60 Hz on the TV, it has random red pixels popping in and out all over dark colors, and it switches back to 30 Hz after a few seconds. Swapped HDMI ports to the ones VIZIO support claimed support 4k@60Hz. Thoughts? Specs: CPU: i5-9600k stock clocks GPU: EVGA 1080 FTW @ stock clocks Memory: 16GB Primary Monitor: 2k @ 144Hz Secondary Monitor/TV: V405-G9
