  1. Fair point. But I think about 20 reviews with no DOAs vs 38 with 30% is a bit suspicious.
  2. Good catch! Interestingly enough, Newegg seems to be the only site with issues. Both Micro Center and the german Mindfactory have 0 reviews reporting issues. Maybe a bad batch Newegg got? And this is the RAM I meant. Thanks for your help!
  3. Thanks for the input. I messed up, I meant Kryonaut as thermal paste. Was not planning to delid the CPU. The Core 500 is 70% bigger than the Nouvolo. I consider that a big difference and worth the cost. I got the 2070 used in new condition (still sealed box) for a great price so I went for that. The case also has space restrictions which makes not every GPU fit. The hard drive is a good point but the 660p is so cheap that I'd rather go full SSD. I don't need 60° temps and according to what I've found, a 240mm AIO will be sufficient for the 3900X. 1) Great, thanks! 2) Yeah, my brain was on standby, it seems. I meant Kyronaut for thermal paste. 3) Good to know, thanks.
  4. Hi! New to this forum but long-time fan of the channel so I hope I'm doing this right. Reason: I'm currently planning to build a new PC because my old one is rather slow and noisy (i7 3770 and GTX 760 OEM). It was a pre-built system so the upgradeability is not great which is why I decided to go completely new. I'd also like to go SFF for this build for aesthetics and portability. I probably won't use the glass side panels so I don't care as much about how it looks inside (also I don't really like RGB). Application: I'd like to do some rendering and a bit of 1080p - 1440p 60-144 FPS gaming. - CPU: R9 3900X - CPU cooler: EVGA CLC 240 (probably) - AIO fans: Noctua NF-A12x25 - GPU: Zotac 2070 Super Mini (already bought) - Motherboard: Gigabyte x570 I Aorus Pro WIFI - RAM: 2x16 3600MHz G.Skill Trident Z Black/White (17-19-19-39 if I recall correctly) - Storage: 2x 2TB Intel 660p (m.2 NVMe) - PSU: Corsair SF600 650W 80 Plus Gold - Case: Nouvolo Steck with expansion unit - Peripherals: Already bought but will upgrade monitor at some point in the future - OS: Already bought Question 1: I am still not sure on the AIO choice. I would have gone with Deepcool as they seem to have a very generous replacement policy in case of a leak, but their pumps are all taller than 70mm which is the maximum for the Steck case. Other than that the performance between different AIOs seems to be pretty much the same, all Asetek pumps and very similar radiators. Any thoughts on this? Question 2: I am also considering getting some Conductonaut, even though the difference it makes might be small. Bad idea? Question 3: Will I need bottom intake fans? As the CPU is watercooled anyway, it would only benefit the GPU. Any help is appreciated! Cheers!
