  1. Yeah I was thinking that as well, plugging an HDMI straight into the laptop. How come hdmi-vga are so dodgy?
  2. Hi everyone I'm able to get a USB c dock from work for my work laptop. I have a home setup with 3 monitor that i use with my private PC. I want to able to have my USB C docking station hooked up to my monitors as well as my own PC, so it's easy to switch between them. ( I have separate mouse and keyboard for the work PC) When reading about the dock i saw that it only supports 2 extra monitors but i read some people who were able to get 3 extra monitors to work, without the laptop monitor. I just wanted to get someone else's opinion on how to do this best. I will list my specs now for you to get a sense of the setup Monitor 1: BenQ xl2720b (1x DP(in use on private PC), 2x HDMI, 1x VGA, 1x DVI) Monitor 2 and 3: Philips 243v (1x VGA, 1 x DVI (in use in private PC) Laptop: Lenovo T14s (Intel UHD 620) USB C dock: Lenovo dock 40 af. How do you guys think i should go about this? I was thinking VGA->HDMI from monitor 2 and 3, and HDMI->HDMI from monitor 1.
  3. I recently got me an Asus g15 ga503 and it's much better than my old desktop. However I'm using two monitors (1080p 60hz through VGA and 1080p 120hz through DP), a mouse and a keyboard for my desktop. I was wondering if it's possible to hook all those things up to a USB C hub? The port on the pc is a USB C 3.2 gen 2 port. Regards Jacob
  4. Should i stop the repair or just let it go on?
  5. Hmm. But it did work fine until i restarted it ?
  6. Hi, i just build a new PC and got windows installed and working flawlessly. When I restarted it booted up and said there wasn't a user and after a couple of tries I got a blue screen saying "unmountable boot volume" I'm currently on the 5th hour of "repairing disk errors this might take over an hour to complete" It's a 1070 gtx, I7-7700k 16 gb ddr4 ram and a 240 gb Kingston ssd. Any tips or ideas to get this bad boy working? Thanks, Jacob
