Looking for some advice/suggestions. I'm currently using a 4 year old ZBook 15 G2. It has an Intel i7-410MQ @ 2.50 GHz 4 cores, 32 gb of RAM, NVIDIA Quadro K2100M. I use it for CAD/CAM ( GibbsCam and Fusion 360 ) and Adobe CC. It has been a great computer for me but it is slowly getting worse and it's becoming frustrating. I'm thinking of replacing it but I'm torn between getting a new Laptop or getting a desktop and just using my current one for when I have to travel. I travel about 3-4 days a month, so its not a lot but it has been great to have my main computer with me wherever I am. Any suggestions on if I should go to a desktop or just upgrade to a new laptop. Also what would you recommend. I have a budget of around $1,800.00 USD.
