Form factor doesn't matter, they will all be hidden or in spaces the don't require them to look nice. I would be happy with any options. There will be about 20-30 wireless clients. I would like wifi 6 and the speeds that go with it but I don't expect 1G over WIFI.

I have been going through all my old computers and backup drives, I am moving everything onto a RAID 1 storage solution so I can get rid of an minimize the number of devices I have. Without manually going through every single file which would take way more time than I have... What programs are available to scan your drives and delete duplicate files? I am sure I have many many duplicates because I have been so fearful of data loss. What do you guys do to manage that kind of thing? Thanks, Eric

I currently have gig internet and am using an old linksys router with samsung smart things wifi mesh. I am looking to upgrade to an independent router and wifi access points. I have 4 switches on the network with hard wire at all access point locations. I need 3 access points to cover my property. What is the good better and best options. Looking to spend ~$1000 or less if its possible. We have a lot of phones, IOT and other devices on the network. I have about 20 devices hardwired into the network. Thanks, Eric

I would hook it up to my 75” tv in my living room that is connected directly to my media closet that is about 10 feet away. I play mostly racing games so I can use my driving seat and then my bedroom tv which is about 30’ away and my shop that is 200’ away. I want to use it as a work station in my shop, a gaming rig and media center in the house.

I don’t have a serious budget in mind, I’m willing to spend good money if it makes sense. I like to know all my options… If I did this setup it would be closest to where I plan to game and enjoy most of my media. But it would be nice to use it in my shop that is about 200 feet from where the computer would be, I already have 2 cat6 cables running out and could run plenty more if needed. And then the rest would be in the house. How does plex and jellyfin work?

I just built a new computer that I am going to use for gaming, work and storage of all my family's photo and video storage and backup. I have been thinking about placing the computer in my media closet but I cannot figure out if I can link it to all of my TVs and have keyboards and mice linked in all the rooms. So my question...? Is there a way to use one computer that can be accessed from all TVs in a home? I have plenty of HDMI ports and DVI to run to all locations that would be dedicated. Thoughts?

What if the racing games I want to play are not on steam and I need to hook up my wheel via USB?

So I am building my computer right now that should be up and running this weekend. I am going to be putting it in my "man cave" which is a 3 car shop that is detached from my house. I have run CAT 6 from my router to the shop and have a complete home network that is capable of 1g speeds. I can run more wiring if needed but my question is... If I wanted to run my games on the PC but be playing them from my living room on my TV is there a way to sync the controllers and monitor feed from ~200' away?

I plan to get a 3080 or 3090 down the road. This is just what I could get my hands on for a decent non scalping price. It will run what I need decently enough until the prices and supply come back around.
