  1. Very late back to this, I know, but it seems that the "This app can't run on your PC" message was caused by buggy drivers from a cheapo WiFi card causing the file to only partially download. Once I installed drivers for that, I had no trouble running and installing drivers for the GPU. A quick run through the DX12 test of Passmark's GPU benchmark saw both fans spinning correctly under load and everything is detected as normal now. Thank you so much for your great advice!
  2. Would it be worth booting in that slot just to see if it's recognised it BIOS? Can't hurt, can it? Then we can at least rule it out as an issue.
  3. I'm more talking about the actual SATA ports - the shroud of the GPU rests right on top of the plastic housing for the ports, so I wonder if that's somehow interfering?
  4. I am more than prepared to admit that I am an ass if it means making progress. I'm a complete novice, so nothing is off the table here I'll check once I have everything reassembled.
  5. No, actually. I was sort of worried, since one of the SATA ports on the right slightly interferes with clearance, but everything seemed to click in place just fine. It was getting late by the time I was troubleshooting these issues, so I removed it. I guess there's really no reason to not give it a shot.
  6. I've finally assembled all the parts for my PC build, and I tried to test it outside of the case to see if everything's working. For a first time, I was happy to see that almost everything is working well. Aside from the GPU. It's a Powercolor RX 5700 XT Red Dragon. On every launch so far, only one of the two fans have started spinning. No graphics card is detected in the BIOS. Trying to update to the 2020 Adrenalin drivers for the card resulted in "This app can't run on your PC". Device manager sees it as the generic ATI output. The only thing that recognises it in some capacity is GPU-Z, which can tell that it's a Powercolor 5700 XT. Everything else is working normally, and I'm getting a display out from the HDMI port. I could really use any advice going.
