  1. Hello, Im unsure exactly what it is I need however I'm working from home now and have a work laptop that i would like to connect to my desktop monitors. I want to be able to have both my desktop and my laptop connected to my monitors and i just click a button to switch between the two for example if i click a button (number 1) it shows my desktop on my screens but if i click another button (number 2) it shows my lap top on the screens. Also my laptop is usbc and laptop everything else hdmi. sorry if i couldnt explain it well but i hope yall know what i mean!!
  2. I've seen tons of videos on people saying use this or that settings I can't find a fine line on what settings to use for recording. There's always different videos with different settings. I understand most of us have different PC's so let me tell you what mine is. GPU: 3060 12gb pc CPU: i5-12400f RAM: 32 GB downloaded(downloaded is a joke) Monitor: 1440p 185hz My streamlabs is setup to record however when replaying my clips they're fine except here and there where FPS clearly went down massively however I don't notice it as I'm gaming.
  3. Is windows 11 worth it as a gamer in 2024? I am still hearing a lot of mixed responses when it comes to whether windows 11 is worth it. For me the only reason I'd upgrade is because I have 2 monitors and they are the same size just different resolution meaning I have a part of the screen I can't use to drag my mouse across to the other part as on Nvidia it shows the 2nd monitor as smaller. Apparently it's fixed in windows 11. However some people said it made their gaming harder and difficult as well as being annoying in general for example it's essentially the same just if you want to do something it will take 2 extra steps to do it now such as right click desktop to open display. There are fixes for this however but it requires you to download this and that which I don't want to. The only things I'll be downloading is ram and money.
  4. Is it worth upgrading to windows 11 as a gamer
  5. It's not I can't move my mouse to the left if it's too low
  6. So long story short I upgraded from a 27inch 1080p to a 1440p 27inch however Nvidia sees them as diff sizes I suppose because of pixels. Is there a way to make 1 the size of 2 using the image attached as a reference?
  7. Okay so the fix I found for this was from a chap on a YouTube short. Channel name:abx097 Step 1: On bios go to advanced mode. Step 2: click boot option Step 3: look for CSM or anything CSM related. In the steps he says to launch CSM for me I had to change from uefi to CSM Step 4: save and boot. For next time it's probably best to download ram. - THIS IS A JOKE NEVER DOWNLOAD RAM, YOU CANT.
  8. Ok so I did this and it's still the same also for boot order it is. Uefi hard disk - uefi cd/dvd - usb hard disk - uefi usb cd/dvd - usb key - uefi usb key - uefi usb floppy - uefi network. My SSD has windows on it and it's called CT something how do I tell which one that is on that list.
  9. Done this still get green boot light and opens bios
  10. So in bios I clicked f7 to open advance and then went to boot and it's already on my main drive with os on it and switched to another and back to no avail. Also putting the old ram did nothing I get the same problem
  11. So I had 16gb of ram and purchased 32gb of ram as I need the upgrade for editing. I had in my pc 2 sticks of Corsair vengeance 8gbs so upgraded to netac 16gb sticks x2. When I booted my pc the motherboards lighting sequence started however the light stayed on for the boot option (green). It loads my pc into my bios. I did see and the sticks of ram are recognised as I see 2 16000 whatever for ram. How I installed the ram: I powered off the pc, then pressed the PSU button to off then pressed the power on button to clear any remaining power. Touched the radiator to remove static then removed 2 sticks and installed 2 new sticks. That's it nothing special. Then I turned the PSU button to on and powered on. Specs: Motherboard - MSI pro h610m-g ddr4 GPU - 3060 12gb oc Ram - 32gb CPU - i5 12400f Memory - 1x HDD (1tb), 1x SSD (1tb), 1x sdd (250gb)
