  1. I already did, and saved the link for a future OC. Thanks! I will download all those programs ASAP and when i get my computer and build it i'll do the stress tests. I saw that for example Watch Dogs at 1080 and maxing out all the settings doesn't go over 60FPS with my gpu, maybe if i overclock it a little bit it will? Thanks for your help! Enigma.
  2. About a month ago i had the "same" problem, i say the "same" because mine is a wirless mouse... and it's a little bit different. A possible solution that worked for me: First unplug/turn off your mouse. Then grab a Q tip(the thingy that you use to clean your ear wax with a cotton in both sides) put some rubbing alcohol but not dripping wet, just a little moisture then clean the lens of your mouse, when you think you are done, use the other side of the Q tip and dry it. It should work, if not... maybe someone will tell you what is it. Good luck! Enigma.
  3. I plan to do around that too, 4.2 or 4.3, even tho i know that i can go safe till' around 4.5 or even 4.6. I'm not a hardcore overclocker nor gamer, so i won't need "that much". I know that my stock build is a badass, but... i did buy those components thinking about overclocking and learning about it. I want just what you said, a 60FPS at 1080 on Ultra settings or Very High. MSI After Burner isn't it just for MSI GPU's? I'll have the Asus tweak and RoG i guess... i know that i have to download some Benchmark programs and CPU/GPU stress tests. Well, i'll wait for someone who has time to explain it a bit with this build, if not... i'll research my a** off again till' i'm sure of what i'm doing... i don't want to burn my new 3k$ build . Thanks! Enigma.
  4. Hi there! I'm about to get my computer and i want some tips on overclocking since i'm not used to do it. Maybe more than one of you guys has the same build or similar to mine and did some overclocking. Here it is the most important components of my build: CPU: 4770K GPU: Asus DirectCU II OC 3gb 780 RAM: Corsair Vengance 1866 2x8GB CL9 Motherboard: Asus Maximus Hero VII PSU: Corsair RM650 CPU cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i SSD: Samsung 840pro 128gb HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB Case: NZXT 820 I found some overclocking guides, but they allways say that if i'm new in to overclocking, i should ask if there's people who has a similar build to yours and did some tests before. My objective: Gaming in Ultra settings, rendering, video editing and designing with photoshop. I'm not a pro in nothing of those but photoshop, Thanks for your help guys! I hope i can help you back! Enigma.
  5. 550w-500w?? I'll do some OC and i don't want to be too short on W's for 40-50$. 650 to be safe/sure? Thanks!
  6. Not in a near future, maybe in 2-3 years? but not right now... i'm i good to go with a 650W? Because i don't want to overkill the PSU when i won't use it... and i used 2-3 PSU calculators but... you know... is better to ask some good fellows around here. Thanks for replying! Enigma.
  7. Hi there! Today or tomorrow i'll order this: https://www.pccomponentes.com/core/client/showList/id/421250/hash/H0BqZqHb And i want to know if 760W of PSU its too much for this build and should i get a 650W or should i keep the 760? Thanks for your answers! Enigma.
  8. Just a minor question for you guys who i'm absolutely sure know the answer. With this build, would i need a 750AX PSU? or i'm good to go with a RM650? Because i won't SLI anytime soon... and i think it's maybe too much... What do you think? Thanks!
  9. In a way... you are right, but i need the most reliable that i can get, a few months later i'll get the 4TB version for massive storage and maybe i'll buy the Blue in that case, but the black edition gives me 5 years waranty+its the best HDD i can get in that range of price. Thank you for your opionions!
  10. This last two years i started learning more and more about hardware and High-end rigs to build my own badass one. I allways read about RoG and their components and how they are best suited for gaming and high en performance and somewhere i read about the compatibility between the MOBO and the GPU is very important, if they are the same brand(Asus in this case) they will work in better "harmony" you could say...? If i'm wrong, correct me please. Thank you! I had the Seagate in my wishlist, but reading many post i decided to get the WD one. About the SSD... the same goes for this one, i read a lot of good things about this one and how reliable it is. Why do you think should i change for those ones? Maybe your reasons will make me change my mind. Thank you! I was about to get the MSI z97x7 Gaming series but then i saw the 780TI Matrix from RoG and i tought that i could change the MOBO as well to match the GPU and better compatibility as i mentioned earlier. How wrong am i? Thanks for your reply! I know... for all of you who don't speak spanish just a few words here and there that must be funny to read that. They obviously meant to say "NZXT 820 en negro(in black)" but sometimes they make this mistakes. Funny tho... So... The EVO it's faster you say? I'll check that out, maybe i should change it. About the i7, as i said, i won't play only, i will do rendering, 3D designs and Photoshop a lot, so i'll need the i7 as a minimum... and because i don't want to spend anymore, 2300€(about 3200$) it's a lot to spend. Thank you all for your replies. 2 Days to order it, let me know your thoghts! Take care! Enigma.
  11. Hi there, finally i'm gonna order my beast... and i just want to share it with you and know what you think about it. Let me know fellows! I followed most of your tips around here and i'll still do if i think it's good for my rig. Here is the link of the whole thing. https://www.pccomponentes.com/core/client/showList/id/421250/hash/H0BqZqHb Spanish online store(cause i'm from Spain, yes.) If you are asking on what i'm gonna use it: Mostly editing, rendering, 3D design, Photoshop and a lot of gaming. If anybody has problems seeing it, tell me. Thank you! Enigma.
  12. 55" at 3 feet? Oh my ... you are lucky that the LED displays doesn't hurt your eyes like those old TV's did. I allways played on a 42" display and i must say that i was very good at it too. For example in Titanfall... love that game. I'm about to get the "beast" PC in few days, and i want to be 100% sure of all... i'm changing things all the time this past 3 months or so... and now i'll get the new Matrix 780 Ti + the Asus Maximus VII Hero with a 4770k. I think it's a pretty damm good PC. Later on this summer(here in Spain) i'll get the 46" - 50" display.
  13. Oh.... i seee... Rape. Well, as far as i saw about the 780Ti it seems the best choice for future-proof as you said, maybe eventually i'll decide to switch to 3-monitor set-up and i'll get another 780Ti, this future may be a little far, but ... there it is. About the 120hz TV... well as i said, i'm not a hardcore gamer and i saw MANY videos about the "60hz vs 120hz for a casual gamer" for example, the one Linus does . And it doesn't seem to affect too much to a casual player as much as to one who spends almost all the time playing or just works all the time with 120hz's. I'm thanking you guys for your fast replies. Take care. Enigma.
  14. Hello everybody. I saw many posts here about this question and i'm pretty sure you are sick of it, but let me explain my situation: I'm a guy who likes to play games "the more realistic, the better" and i want to design with photoshop and start to design with 3D programs such as Unreal Engine, AutoCad, etc... I'm not a hardcore gamer, but if i have time off, i want to spend it playing a game in the best graphic configuration i can, i like to max out those nasty nasty settings... I will play on a probably 46" - 50"(max) display, HDTV of course. I know lot of you don't like this, but i'm playing from a 3-4m(9-13 feet) distance and i made my research on which display should i take and how much input lag it has(17ms or 18ms) and how much Hz's it has(120hz) and those are tested as displays for PC (Here is the link). So... my question here is: Should i take the almighty 780Ti and poop on some bad guys in-game? or should i get a 780 SLI or similar CF and do the same thing with those? Thanks for your time, i'll appriciate any question/help. Take care! Enigma.
  15. I'm worried about the input lag, if i can find a Samsung that suits me, perfect. I'l check what choices i have. And about my TV, was a LED 3D 46".
