  1. Hello Not sure if this is the place to make this? Please move it if needed! My issue is using 2 displays when plugged into a laptop dock. For the past year our office has just been using laptops to work, recently to improve productivity we decided to get new laptops and docking stations to allow us easily just plug the laptop in and get 2 displays then turn it off at the end of the day and take the laptop home. There are 3 of us in the office, 2 of the people got the same laptop, dock, etc.. they have no issues with the setup all the displays work and show. I wanted a laptop a little more powerful as I do occasional light gaming (CSGO is probably to most resource intensive game I play, not the most intensive game..) so looking at reviews for a couple of weeks iI opted to get a Asus Zenbook S13 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-13-9-inch-NanoEdge-Processor-Dedicated/dp/B07RP87GDZ) For the dock I decided on an Asus dock- https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-90NB0DH1-P00070-UNIVERSAL-DOCK/dp/B01M12PUB6/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1CYEJS41WVOXG&keywords=asus+universal+dock&qid=1569861815&s=gateway&sprefix=asus+univer%2Caps%2C368&sr=8-4 This had all the ports needed. Now to the issue which I need help with, the dock connects to the laptop via USB C, the dock connects to the laptop and all the ports work, one small issue is that the dock doesn't charge the laptop but not too big of an issue. Looking at the display ports on the dock there is a HDMI and a VGA cable, when plugging the monitors in, you are unable to plug the HDMI and VGA in at the same time (bad design or are you not meant to use both?) but with a little bit of modification to the VGA cable you can get them both to fit, when setting up the displays in the display settings, only 1 of the monitors shows so only the laptop and 1 of the monitor can be used, the other one doesn't detect. Both ports, cables and monitors work on their own so that isn't an issue, sometimes when using on of the monitors, for example having the HDMI cable in and being displayed on a monitor, plugging in the VGA will make both screens black, leaving the laptop screen on its own. I have tried updating drivers with no effect, I tried power cycling the dock with everything plugged in and it still only picked up one of the monitors. I'm not sure if its the dock, the laptop or the monitors or even that you are unable to use HDMI and VGA at the same time? Any help would be great, if anyone has had this issue and managed to fix it please let me know. If more information is needed, please let me know and I will be happy to provide it. Thanks for reading. Davboy
