Hello,
I'm starting a small game cafe business in my town. Its just one other and its doing pretty well. I want to tap into that market and do it even better. High end PCs and good atmosphere.
I have around 10 years working with games as a service, but want to step down from corporate and have my own place to administer.
My plan is to start with 20 PCs (10 High end and 10 Mid) and 5 consoles. I already have a 200 square meter place and the initial investment money.
My only concerns are regarding networking.
For starters the internet I can get a the moment is 300Mbit/300Mbit. I can get another contract with another company for 100/100Mbit and route browsing through this one.
What type of hardware would I need for a full setup with Steam cafe program and net cafe admin software? Router, switches, server?
Also
Please let me know some ways I can avoid bandwidth problems with game updates.
Thanks,
Chunky
