  1. I have had increasing instability over the past few weeks, and while investigating, I found that the OCCT Power test crashes the second I start it, but in the radeon software the stress test draws 315W on my 6800xt with ease, no problems. I presume this is down to something going wrong in the PSU (an HX1200), and before I replace it I want to make sure I have gone through everything else first. My RAM isn't DOCP, and I have tried the test with it both on and off, done a DDU, windows updates all the normal stuff. Thanks Specs: 5900x X570-F 6800xt Sapphire 2x16gb DDR4 3200 HX1200 Corsair
  2. So I got a 4tb HDD, it was fine for a day, then I turned on my PC to "SMART Failure detected" within 41 hours of operation, I contacted seagate after running Crystal Disk Info saying there was a spin retry count error, and the conclusion was that I had accidentally bought an OEM drive under the same branding, so should return and buy a real one. So I did. It arrives, I plug it in, all fine and dandy. Following day, I have the same thing. I plug it in my brothers PC, run CDI, and same error. Seagate says this is almost impossible and says run seatools. Short generic= Pass, Long generic=Pass, SMART=Fail, Short Drive Self Test=Fail. Seagate said that if the long generic is a pass then "scrub the drive and try again". The SATA cable I used was fine, tried my brothers as well. SATA power, it was a daisy chain cable already powering a few things, maybe this was the issue. I have no clue, do I return it again? Someone help pls. Thanks! 3. I've now had the 6800xt for about 2 months, and my warzone performance seems to be identical to the 5700xt I upgraded from. My specs are: R7 3700x 2x16gb Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz cl16 MSI B450M Mortar Max HX1200 PSU Sapphire Nitro + SE 6800xt I get about 110fps atm at 1080p in warzone, and as you can imagine I should get way more, nearly 150fps I assume. I've tried changing the adv.options folder, I've changed fan curve, and allowed it to take more power, I've updated windows, driver, bios, the list goes on. If anyone has any solutions that have worked for them with similar solutions, like specific drivers etc, please lmk!!!!! Thanks for your time! Harry
  4. Oh wow didn't know it was that big of a difference! I'll have a look at some diff. benchmarks in the meantime with the same cpu
  5. I got a Sapphire nitro + 6800xt yesterday and was playing some COD Cold War and was happy with my performance, bear in mind I have a 3700x, and was getting nearly 200 fps on the highest possible 1080p settings. I now go onto yt and have a look and I see people getting well over this with the 5800x cpu with SAM on (around 225-230 fps) and I just cannot tell. I have 32gb ram so idk but if anyone can lmk what these people are doing to their systems to get these results lmk please. Thanks guys
  6. Because I am using the new one as a boot drive and so want to keep most of my old ones on the old ssd. I just moved them all manually and it seems to work now though
  7. Budget (including currency): £100 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: N/A Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):
  8. Yeah I'll probably have to do that, just need to get around to it because its not something I can do in 30 mins lol
  9. Hi guys, I'm in a bit of a confusing situation atm. I have gotten myself a new ssd after filling my current 1tb ssd. Old one is a sata ssd and new one is nvme. Therefore sata has to go in top slot and nvme in bottom slot (because of compatibility). As you can imagine, the new one is faster and so I have installed my windows 10 onto that one as well. Once I have booted into the new one, shut-down, re-installed the old one, booted back in. To access any of my old files I have to go through the lengthy process of file explorer, this pc, users etc etc etc which is a long process so I've left the ssd in it's box till I can find a solution. I would like to know if there is any easy way to transfer all my adobe files, videos etc etc to the new one (which links all the videos etc to the adobe files) wihtout having to uninstall premiere on one drive, reinstall on the new one. Transfer all my projects across, then have to relocate every video on the old drive. Same goes for any other files I'll want quick access to which will stay on the new drive. If anyone knows a way in windows, or a piece of software I should download once the new drive is in again, then please lmk as I'm down to 10gb left on my old one lmao! Sorry for the essay but thanks guys!!!
  10. are you sure because I was looking at some warzone benchmarks and they both get around 200fps at 1080p low and 180 high, so is it not better to get gpu first because I only get 100-110 fps atm on the 5700xt and it would be even lower on a 1440p monitor? Sorry for late response but I just wanna make sure I'm buying the right stuff if ugm
  11. Alright I appreciate your helpful advice today! I’ll start saving!
