  1. “Defective video memory”, does that mean it’s most likely to be my GPU??
  2. Sadly I don’t. But maybe I could try to borrow one?? If I managed to borrow one, and this still happens, what is the problem and how to solve it?? And if it doesn’t happen, then what is the problem and how to solve it??
  3. Hi everyone, my PC sometimes gives me the problems attached in the picture. Sometimes it doesn’t happen, sometimes it happens frequently. I’m not sure what causes it and what I can do to fix it. Can someone help?
  4. According to this reddit post, the Corsair vengeance RGB pro CMW16GX4M2D3600C18 Timings are 18-22-22-42. same with CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18 Timing 18-22-22-42. so in you guys opinion, which one is the better kit?? I don’t really understand all the “b-die” and “non b-die” talks. So I’m just looking for suggestions on which one should I buy?? i am planning to get a Ryzen 7 2700x with a rog strix b450-f motherboard. Help appriciated, thanks in advance!!
  5. I am using the stock intel cooler that came with the processor. The model is E97379 (I think)
  6. Not sure if this is the right place to post. If not, moderators please direct this to the right place. Hi guys, I have a question about my CPU temperature, I am quite worried about it actually. So to start off, I have a i5-2500k CPU. My case is a Cooler master MB520 RGB (3 front fans, 1 back fan) plus I installed another fan on the top. when I go into my BIOS and go into “PC health”, it states that my CPU temperature is 87 degrees Celsius. So I decided to download CPUID hardware monitor, and when idle, the temperature is around 58~65 degrees. I launched Firefox and went to YouTube to watch a video, 720p. Then that’s when this happened. Is this normal for my CPU just watching a YouTube video? I was thinking of getting a CPU fan and reapply thermal paste on my CPU. Do you guys think it’s a good idea? I don’t want to get a CPU fan and in the end, it stays the same. Thabks in advance.
  7. I’m only running on 1 stick of RAM but still getting those 2 BSOD plus those rebooting/crashing issue. Well, I guess I’ll just build myself a new PC then. thanks so much.
  8. Thanks for your reply and insight!! Really appreciate it. so basically, what you suggest is just getting a new PC?
  9. Hi everyone. As the title states, can anyone help me with my problem? It’s a Lenovo AIO PC, B500 Had problems for a very long time (around 2 years) about constant crashing and freezing/hang when using my PC and thought that it was due to my HDD problem. So I went out to purchase and new HDD yesterday and wanted to try a clean install of windows 7. But to my horror, nothing changed, my PC is still crashing and freezing constantly. Since it’s a new HDD, when I’m trying to install windows 7, normally at the “expanding windows files” stage my PC would give me problems. Up to now. I have already 2 different types of BSOD. Steps I have taken to try to dignose the problem, MemTest86, tried 1 card at a time, I have 2x2GB cards, found out 1 of the slots is faulty, so I can only run my PC on 2GB of ram. Both ram sticks no problem. Windows memory diagnostics, same, no problem.
