  1. Its disabled in bios from the day i got the discrete gpu. And i also tried different ram but i dont have any reach for a motherboard swap right now... Also in another forum someone suggested to turn off hardware acceleration, it seem to have and effect but i only used pc for 3-4 hours with the suggested method, i need a bit more time to tell if its the solution.
  2. I have a 5 months old newly built pc, this problem i will describe here was there from beginning but i postponed to find out the cause all this time. First of all this never happens when i game (World of Tanks, Sniper Elite, Cs Go, Gta 5, Borderlands). Its only when i browse internet or sometimes on desktop. I uninstalled chrome and used edge and then firefox for some time. It only looked like it took a bit more time for the issue to come back so these didnt solve. At the very first i thought its a static electric problem so i made sure everything is grounded nicely. -no fix. Changed hdmi cable. -still there. In that time i have bought a discrete gpu. - nothing changed. One interesting thing is when i increase the ram speed it feels like the flicker/shutter happens more frequently. At 2666Mhz i think it only happened once. At 3200 it happens like once every 2 hours or so. I also tried a different ram too, it was still happening. The thing happening is like when you shock a monitor with static but in my situation the monitor is not turning off/back, its just a milisecond flicker/shutter. Even tho you %99 of the time you barely realize what happened but i remember seeing similar shaped figures a few times like in those pictures which doesnt belong to me; My suspicion at this point is that maybe something is up with cpu's memory controller or motherboard somehow causing this. All drivers, chipset driver and bios is up to date. Any trouble shooting advices are appreciated. Cpu; R3 2200G Gpu; Pulse Radeon RX 570 Ram; G.skill 3200Mhz Cl16 F4 Gvkb Mainboard; Msi b450i itx Psu; Be quiet system power u9 700w OS; Windows 10 pro
  3. Currently running a 2200G. Im going be installing an rx 570 tomorrow to the pc. Is it okay to just install new gpu's driver or i should use amd cleanup utility to clean integrated vega of 2200g's driver first?
  4. We think our power outlet in that room is problematic right now. Deleting the post for now to not waste peoples time. Ill brb if probelem pursues
  5. Yes, the other pc is in another room with its own monitor. i just unplugged gpu and went to that pc.
  6. Our problem was when we fire up a game the screen was going crazy. All kinds of stuttering and vertical and horizontal lines and all kinds of abnormalities. It is going back to normal when we get back sitting on desktop. We took out the gpu (radeon 7850) and tried it in another pc (That is also a new pc with msi b450i gaming plus ac, r3 2200g, be quiet system power 700 watts psu, gskill rams, 250gb wd m.2 ssd)) All was good, there were no issues at all. We put it back in our pc and same issues going on. Swapped out hdmi cable, didnt help.. Then we decided that its time to ugrade our 7 years old pc (i5 2400+7850 system) Bought everything brand new (new case+kingston 480gb ssd+r5 1600+gigabyte b450m gaming+xpg 3200 cl16 rams+high power performance gd 600 watts psu) except for the gpu because we validated that its working... Now everything is brand new except for the gpu and the same problem is going on. But the gpu is completely fine in another pc... Any guesses what can be the cause?
  7. If i knew it i wouldnt be here asking. And yes, i want the laptop to be 4gb ram, WHY not?
  8. Ramaxel is in my laptop and 'elpida' written on the chips. Other one is appearently hynix chips. ''They should work together if the timings are compatible'' Yes what i am asking is this.
  9. I am trying to make an old lenovo r500 laptop to be usefull at least for surfing the net which has a 2GB ram stick in it called Ramaxel 2GB 2rx8 pc3-8500s-777 HF. So i assume those 777 numbering is for its Cl value. The closest ram i can buy right now to pair with it is a Hynix 2GB 2rx8 pc3-8500s-7-10-F2. So can these two be paired without a problem or i need the exact same ram to go for?
  10. Its an aerocool slim case that comes with that psu for a total of 60 ish dollars. Location is Turkey. My options are now with my budget a) getting a silverstone st45sf 450 watt unit apart and downgrading the gpu to a like r7 240 for future upgrade b) postponing all of them to summer (because i really dont want to game on this card 4-6 months.. Thanks for the help.
  11. Not really but if i had another option right now i wouldnt be asking. Seems plans need to be postponed..
  12. ? Okay then, but if we assume the numbers are correct apart from typos and also lets take the 14 as 13 and say 156 watts. Would that be enough?
  13. Psu is coming with case so i had to dig a bit, its a no name psu called ''ddkpc300sfx'' Supposedly real 300W Psu..
  14. You cant view the picture?
  15. Thinking about getting this psu for a short period of time (4-6 months) until i save up for a quality one, would it cause any problems? 16. My brother plays a browser based game called darkorbit. The Pc is his personal Pc but im here writing because his English is not that great. According to him the screen sometimes unexpectedly goes black + the sound cuts out with a weird shady effect too after a few seconds and it stays like that, gotta restart the Pc manualy. Or comes back from black screen a bit later saying that the graphics card driver stopped responding and rescued. And sometimes just small hair lines appears and goes away, hes telling me. He says he plays CS:GO, Dirt Rally, World of tanks and theres no problem at all with those games but those things i tried to explain only happen when he plays Darkorbit. The temperatures are normal. Drivers are reinstalled and up to date. We have no clue why is this happening. Specs -Motherboard; An Old Hp oem Cupertino 2 -İ5-2400 -Sapphire Hd 7850 OC 2gb 8 gigs 1333 mhz ram -Gigabyte 550p 550 watt PSU -Windows 7 SP1 (6.1.7601.17514) 64bit
  17. Check the video please. Overall speed is not so concerning but why does that happen? Its a brand new usb 3.0 flash drive and the usb port is usb 3.0 as well. All the drivers are up to date. VID_20191004_221427 (convert-video-online.com).mp4
  18. I have the heatsink. While i was writing It ''doesnt touch heatsink' i knew you will think like this. And theres no paste there just the coppers color is faded at hat point.
  19. Seems theres only 1 sensor around the cpu area because im getting the same temperature from GPUz as i get from open hardware monitor cpu temps. All i think now is how does this heatsink below work since the chip on the left which you say is gpu left open without a cooler? (gpu doesnt touch heatsink)
  20. Thanks. Do they run cool since dell decided to leave them without heatsink? Can i switch to the redesigned one?
  21. What does the igpu chip do? I had a 3rd gen i7 laptop before this and it did just have 1 die. So i assumed the hd 4000 gpu it has is embedded to the cpu die therefore now thinking the extra chip i5 4310u has is something completely different. I am really confused.
  22. Or is it? Am i mistaking the hd4400 with igpu or igpu means the hd4400 gpu in my case?
  23. Haha so those guys that has a revised heatsink of my model using their laptops that doesnt have a heatsink on their igpu? Thats so stupid.
  24. Did you check the dell forum topic? They are wrong then?
  25. Iam a latitude e7440 owner.(i5 4310 cpu with hd 4400 onboard gpu) While searching on the net to make my device run cooler i came across with this topic; Dell Community Forum The heatsink on the first message there apperently a redesigned one to not touch the what appears to be the northbridge(my source; that topic- chip on the right in my pic.) My laptop has the old design one which has the surface area to cover both chips. I tested to see if newly designed heatsink really helps cpu temp. by repasting mine but leaving the northbridge chip without paste thus decreasing the contact with heatsink and that resulted in avg. 3-4 degree celcius lower cpu temp. At the end my question is that if dell left that northbrige chip too hot in favor of lower cpu temp? I am worried if i just buy the redesigned heatsink and some time later some other problems comes up becauae of an overheating northbridge chip.
