Nevemind i've taken it apart and tommorrow ill take the motherboard with the broken mini usb type b on down to the phone repair shop who can solder it off and put a new mini usb type b on for me, thanks for the help though.

yeah my friend plugged his pc into the wall for the first few days of using it, because his psu was cheap it end up blowing his plug fuse lol, but considering your psu is good i would be very supprised if that happened but to be safe use a power surge.

damn well that sucks, do you have any reccomendations of where i could send it off to? because i dont have the tools required.

I broke my mini usb port on my blue snowball ice a little while ago but i was wondering, what part i would need to buy to replace it? Also for some reason i have a Mini USB version instead of USB B version hopefully that doesnt cause problems. If you could link a video on how to install new part that would help too.
