  1. I'm going to run with the stock cooler right now to check since I just found out airflow to be the problem. I'm running the 240mm AIO but I suspect that how I have it positioned has put the fans too close to the front panel. I never noticed it with my prior CPU in the exact set up but I guess that's because it was only a 1500x.
  2. I think you just saved my cpu. Just got home from work and removed the front panel like you suggested. Instant drop by 10c celcius. The temp still fluctuates quickly up and down but the range is now 34-42c. Ran Cinebench 20 and my temp maxed at 61c and that was with a couple of the cores hitting 4.3 during the test. I have to now figure out a way to allow more airflow with the front panel on.
  3. So I uninstalled Ryzen and reset again. While using HWMonitor I ran Cinebench20 and my package temp hit 74C at its peak.
  4. I uninstalled ryzen masters and reset CMOS. Reinstalled Ryzen Masters after and results were better (40-50C) but still too high for idle. I know it's not my AIO because when I turn off the pump the temperatures go even higher. This is a screen cap of what I'm seeing. Definitely lower than when I started the thread but still seems high Media1.mp4
  5. So I reset CMOS and on first boot I had great idle temps at 30c with fans and pumps at lowest settings even and then I maxed everything out and got it to hover 20-30c. I checked Ryzen masters and my voltage was staying at around 1.2-1.3. I restarted my computer and this time it went back to 50-60c idle and the voltage is switching from .7 to 1.4. I read a couple articles on how to set my voltage and clock speed, but then my computer wouldn’t boot after editing those.
  6. I just noticed in something in Masters and I mentioned it in another reply. My voltage is switching between .748 and 1.46. Did you set your own value in the BIOS to remedy the fluctuation?
  7. Taking off side panel didn’t make any noticeable change in the temperature trend. I am noticing in Ryzen Masters that my voltage is going from .78 to 1.46. When it hits 61c my voltage is at 1.46 and as the temp comes down the voltage changes to .78 and when it leaps back up to 60ish the voltage is back at 1.46.
  8. Mounted the same way I had it on my 1500x before making the change. I thought maybe I had too much thermal paste when I saw the temps that high so cleaned AIO and CPU off with 99% isopropyl and reapplied with the pea method.
  9. Pump max is 2800 +/- 300 according to the website. I have pump and all fans set to max right now. I did a quick test and tried putting the fans and pump on a lower setting the temp didn’t change much. Ryzen master and CAM are showing pretty equal stats. I’m basically just using CAM for cooling control, but all other stats I’m pulling from Ryzen Master.
  10. Somehow I overlooked this. What would be a normal voltage for this? I don’t mind going into BIOS and tweaking I’m just not sure what’s ideal.
  11. This is idle. CAM and Task Manager both showing 3-7% CPU usage.
  12. Also I have not done any manual adjustments to any BIOS settings for any OC or voltage since I literally just installed the CPU like 4 hours ago.
  13. Fans are at 1750ish with the performance curve on pump is at 2791 On Ryzen Master it’s showing 3950 on all cores and the temp is still at 65c and goes down about 1-2c a second and then leaps from 55 back to 65
  14. Hey everyone, I’ve tried looking around and using all the solutions I’ve seen on other people’s posts but nothing is helping. I just installed a new Ryzen 7 2700x in my PC, it was the only thing I changed and now my idle temps are running 55-65 and fluctuate very quickly. They’ll be 55 then 65 in a second and slowly come down to 55 and jump up again. If I run cinebench 20 then my temp hits 80-85 and I see that the core lock drops to 3650. These temps are from both CAM and Ryzen Master. I am using an AIO from NZXT but I reapplied new thermaltake thermal paste. I have the radiator front mounted as intake and I have too and rear exhaust. The software for the AIO says the liquid is 34c but CPU will be at 65c. Bios and windows are up to date. I might just be paranoid but these temps seem really high especially since I’m hitting 85 on cinebench at barely 3650.
