  1. I was connected to the internet and I had created the usb drive from laptop which I frequently update, I haven't experienced any crashing issues from my previous motherboard and I'm starting to wonder the same thing.
  2. No, as I got the desktop setup the BSOD appeared and then the computer rebooted and it would keep happening, or it would end up freezing
  3. I've installed a new installation of windows. It still crashes in safe mode.
  4. Hey I have installed a new msi 990fxa-gd80 it was still in the wrap. I can boot into windows but as soon as I get to the desktop it crashes. I have ran a memtest on my 16gb of 1600 ram. I have deassembeled and reassembled the entire computer and I've tried booting into a live thing of ubuntu and it runs fine I can browse the web with ease and watch videos on the live thing, but as soon as I get to windows 10 it starts crashing. Help please this has been going for days. It keeps spitting WHEA-UNCORRECTABLE-ERROR. The post monitor I have looked up and it's just been regular posts. Specs are msi 990fxa-gd80, fx 8350, 4 sticks of 16gb of green samsung memory, gtx 670, wdblue 240gb ssd, and three we grey 1 tb hard drives, with the power supply a cx500 from corsair, and a cooler master beefy big cooler with red lights.
  5. OK, thank you. But I have just one more question, what about dual booting windows and Linux after all I would like to be able to use some windows exclusive software.
  6. No it has a 5400 rpm hard drive but it has 8 gigabytes of ram, that I guess helps a little bit.
  7. I need some help with finding some optimization software's for my 4 year old laptop. I need it to be able to take less load on the system, and make it a smoother running experience.
