  1. Thinking about buying a new headset and I have my eyes on the Game Zero Sennheiser. Any thoughts on this? I would be using it for gaming within overwatch at high skill..
  2. Are there any newer bios versions?

  3. Where can I find retailers Selling the i9-9900ks?
  4. I bought the i9-9900k a week ago and it is still in the box. I just saw that Intel was realeasing the i9-9900ks today and I was wondering if I should refund my i9-9900k and buy the i9-9900ks
  5. What motherboard would be best for an i9-9900k? I will be overclocking. My budget would be within 250-350 dollars.
  6. So the best way would be to change ISP? How do I find out what ISP has the best routing?Since you live fairly close do you have any suggestion? Or is this just a problem that can’t be fixed?
  7. Basically I have 42 ping or over in games when people I know that live in the same city as I and just about 1km away have lower ping being in the 30s~20s. Any tips on what equipment I should use? Right now I use the default tp-link router and modem that came along with the bandwidth package. Are there any modems/routers that you recommend me to purchase, or do they not do a big difference. This doesn't have anything to do with the isp provider right? Fyi I have Ownit broadband. Not that I Think people outside of Sweden can really understand what they say but still. I saw that I have a dynamic IP aswell. what is a coax or DSL? Also, I'm pretty sure that I have fiber. In my city, we have city-fiber provided by the government. That basically everyone has. Anyway to double-check it though? Can their be bad fiber? Also, I ran a traceroute but I don't have any idea what any of it means. Does this image suffice or do you need further information?

So basically, what you are trying to tell me is that my friend and I have different modems and routers, etc. But are there any modems/routers that you recommend me to purchase, or do they not do a big difference. This doesn't have anything to do with the isp right? Fyi I have ownit bredband. Not that I Think people outside of Sweden can really understand what they say but still. I read that I have a dynamic IP aswell. what is a coax or DSL? Also, I'm pretty sure that both of us have fiber. In our city, we have city-fiber provided by the government. That basically everyone has. Anyway to double-check it though? Also, I ran a traceroute but I don't have any idea what any of it means. Does this image suffice or do you need further information?
  9. Recently I upgraded by bandwith from 100/10mb to 250/150mb, and yet there is no difference in the ping. What makes me more annoyed is that my friend that has 100/100 has better ping then me. And we both live in the same city. My ping is usually over 45 in games like overwatch, League and fortnite. My friend usually has 30 ping or even lower. He lives in an apartment building and I live in a house. Location: Sweden
  10. Between Asus, Alienware or Predator which one do you think is the best?
  11. Well since the option to just return the monitor exists i’ll try the 240hz first. I read that there is a slight motion blur on 240hz but it probably won’t be noticeable. My three choices of monitors would be Asus, Alienware or Predator. Which one is better? 24” or 27” Bigger screen = bigger objects?
  12. Why would it be better with ips instead of TN? I assume that those new monitors coming out are 144hz?
  13. Wow. So many different opinions it’s hard to know what is true and what is not. Seems to me like most of you prefer a 1440p 144hz/165hz monitor. I wouldn’t say that I am pro level but I’m top ~50 in overwatch. One thing that I don’t care about is how good the game or graphics looks as long as it’s enjoyable. I have gotten used to playing games at 75% or even 50% render scale simply to have a smoother and more steady frames. Lower resolution scale in overwatch also reduces latency so that’s one things to think about. From my view a 1440p monitor is more to please the eyes and grant details that you might have missed on a lower res. But since I am able to spot details on such low resolutions it could - not saying that it is - be better for me to get a 240hz monitor with as little blur as possible. I think I saw some post about new monitors coming out with less blur on high refresh rate. Haven’t checked to see if it is true though. I will will probably be looking to earn money someway off of gaming but I don’t think that it’s strongly related to thread though.
  14. Wait, Freesync works with NVIDIA cards? I thought that Freesync was amd and G-sync was NVIDIA. If so then I’l Probably get a Freesync monitor instead of G-sync. Unless G-sync is somehow better.
  15. After doing my own research I came up with that the asus-rog-swift-pg258q-245-1920x1080-240hz-monitor-pg258q would fit my pc since I am going to buy a high end one. I figured that 240hz would be the best option for me since I will be play first person shooter games. And it will be important for faster reaction time. What monitor do you think would fit my needs? is this monitor too small, should I get a bigger one? Since my aiming style is flicking. I think that 240hz would be better then 165hz 1440p since it would be smoother and easier to flick.
  16. Yeah well hopefully when I’ve assembled the pc it will run well with a g-sync monitor. I will get a part time job when I get older and look into getting more peripherals and competitive gear.
  17. Will probably buy the lowest latency 3200mhz ram and use XMP profile, thanks. So the best ram to choose from is either G skill ripjaws or g skill trident z?
  18. Do you think it would be better to use an xmp profile? I haven’t overclocked ram before but it seems like xmp is very involved in it. How much can you overclock the 3200mhz. To 3600mhz? My friends think I should get trident z because it looks better. Is ram latency important? Is there a way to go into bios and lower the latency in a safe and stable way? I think that latency might be important if I were to play competitively. Not by far though. You our seem to know allot about ram. Have you overclocked your own ram? What was the way you decided on?
  19. Thank you for the well needed information! It seems as though it is a safer and better choice to go with intel. I will be upgrading this build in the future and I hope it will perform as a high end gaming pc as well as just a good overall pc. I am pretty sure that water coolers are better then air coolers at least in cooling. I watched some benchmarks where the temps where massively reduced when they had a water cooler instead of air. I also think it’s better to have a reliable Corsair power supply with higher voltage instead of something more budget with lower voltage since I don’t mind spending extra for safety and for future-proofing. I will be looking into overclocking but if the fps are fine without it doesn’t really matter to me. Do you think the gtx 1080 can keep up with this build? I know how to overclock it if needed. I am extremely new to forums so I hope that this reply didn’t disappoint you in some way.
  20. Thanks! I will have a more in depth look when possible and consider it as well.
  21. I think that since I am hoping that the pc will last for about 5 years or so, with some parts being switched every now and then. That it might be better to have an i9 instead of amd for future proofing.
  22. Nice build but for now I prefer intel builds. I wasn’t sure if 4400mhz ram would do any difference but It seemed like it would. Also heat likely won’t be a problem for me.
  23. Thanks ! I think I will go with this build. this will be perfect.
