  1. Sorry for the late reply, I was busy. I've looked through the incredibly helpful comments you guys left, and am now leaning more towards a 3700X with that MSI Mobo Blind X suggested as well as the Sabrent Rocket rather than the 970 Evo Plus. In addition I've switched from 4x8GB to 2x16GB, but I'm still keeping my nice, fancy TridentZ sticks. Though with the max ~500W pcpartpicker estimates this system to draw I'm gonna stick with the 750W PSU in order to have a nice bit of breathing space upwardsfor less than 10 bucks more. I'll probably also stick with the 2070 Super, partially because I do sort of want RTX, but I may still change my mind on that. My choice of GPU will probably depend quite a bit on availability when I choose to build the system. 2070 Super prices are somewhat unstable locally atm due to limited availability, with them constantly being out of stock. Here's the currently most probable build: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/user/Silas18301/saved/YJwf99 Thank you all massively for your help! If anyone thinks of anything new, please don't hesitate to comment, but for now you were all extremely helpful!
  2. Yeah, I know, I just didn't feel like making all different flavors of combinations (like Intel, Nvidia; Intel, amd; amd, Nvidia; amd, amd) in seperate part lists. Thanks though!
  3. So I looked some more into it and made this potential build, locally the 5700XT would be 200 Euros cheaper than the Asus 2070 Super/s I was looking at. Would there be anything special to consider when switching to AMD both CPU and GPU wise for me? 4. After having watched the video on the 011, I personally find the fan mounting on it weird, and maybe even it's overall design. I can't quite put my finger on it. I've never really looked seriously into ultrawides as the idea of using one myself seems somewhat bizzare to me. I wrote in a comment above about my already looking into Ryzen, so I'll just steal that from past-me: "I actually looked into Ryzen, but was honestly somewhat worried about stepping out of my intel comfort zone for extra performance I might not even feel, if that makes sense?" A similar sort of logic as with switching to AMD cpu-wise also applied when switching to them from Nvidia. While I really do appreciate your efforts to save me money, this isn't meant to be a performance per dollar build, but pretty much me splurging a bit while I can and buying my self an absolutely top-end rig for my usage of it (including decisions like maximum aessthetics and rgb). Thanks for your help btw!
  5. Thanks, I actually looked into Ryzen, but was honestly somewhat worried about stepping out of my intel comfort zone for extra performance I might not even feel, if that makes sense? In regards to the fans, the two high-speed ones were meant to replace the AiO fans with 3x120mm fans at the front as intakes and one rear 120mm exhaust, this may be overkill but also probably contributes some peace-of-mind cooling- and aesthetic-wise.
  6. https://de.pcpartpicker.com/user/Silas18301/saved/xYvJVn Here's a link to most of the hardware in my tower atm, my main and only monitor is the BenQ one marked as purchased in the upgraded build. Money-wise; I'm currently working full-time nightshift at a big company for 6 weeks before I start going to college in October. The amount of money I'll have earned will be substantial enough to where it's nearly a no-issue within reason. i.e. I didn't get a 2080 Super since the performance boost compared to several hundred euro price increase is so negligible (in my opinion at least).
  7. Hey! I just decided to finally make an account to the LTTForums in order to ask your guys' thoughts on my planned build upgrade. I've got the build planned out in a pcpartpicker list. I'm planning on buying it in mid-october at the earliest and to have all the parts bought by maybe Christmas season at the latest. I'd be grateful for any feedback whatsoever; whether it's fan placement, brand choice or spec choice. I live in Germany and for accurate availability and pricing you'll need to change your country to Germany in the top right of pcpartpicker, also the two high-speed SilentWings 3s are to replace the AiO fans. Here is the link, parts I already own and am carrying over from my current build are marked as purchased: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor €382.99 @ Mindfactory CPU Cooler NZXT Kraken X52 Rev 2 73.11 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Purchased For €0.00 Motherboard Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard €237.90 @ Alternate Memory G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory €223.89 @ Alternate Storage SanDisk SSD PLUS 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Purchased For €0.00 Storage Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Purchased For €0.00 Storage Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive €204.00 @ Amazon Deutschland Storage Western Digital Blue 2 TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive Purchased For €0.00 Storage Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Purchased For €0.00 Video Card Asus GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB STRIX GAMING OC Video Card €620.00 Case Lian Li LANCOOL ONE Digital ATX Mid Tower Case €99.90 @ Caseking Power Supply Corsair RM (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply €100.75 @ Mindfactory Case Fan be quiet!
