  1. The monitor just arrived and it blew my expectations and it have Q at the end.All good. Thanks for comforting.
  2. So I just got a new monitor.ASUS XG27VQ or that was what I was hoping for. It is clearly stating on the package that is is XG27V without a Q. Can someone tell what is up here?Should I be worried? And if you do know please state what the letters stand for as I now the numbers are the inches.
  3. Just want opinion on the monitor. If you have or have had this I'd appriciate your opinion.
  4. I am buying a monitor with about 600 dollar budget and my choice is XG27VQ from ASUS. I've waited for months to find a gaming monitor as Amazon takes ages to deliver in my country and gaming equiment is hard to come through here.(Won't order online) I wanted to go for 1440p but this is the best I came through. Specs of the monitor: VA Panel 1080p 27" 144Hz Link:https://www.asus.com/ru/Monitors/ROG-STRIX-XG27VQ/
  5. While I have the chance,I'd like to ask something off topic. I am buying a monitor with about 600 dollar budget and my choice is XG27VQ from ASUS. 6. Could it be a problem with your CPU as the video you sent had it at 5Hz with less power draw , heat and more FPS.
  7. I haven't overclocked my CPU and overclocking add a big variable as everyone has different needs and might set the overclock to different levels.I think the stock should be the priority in the tests.
  8. That is a good point but I can't belive that I got the same result with the same GPU (put aside the CPU) and I had the graphical setting set to Extreme while they had it on Ultra plus I cranked the Ray-Tracing to Ultra and that should be more than enough to lower my FPS by a bunch.
  9. So 9900K is less powerfull than 8700K when both overclocked fully while 9900K outperforms in other workloads such as rendering because of its cores?
  10. A user mentioned that the i9-9900K doesn't beat the overclocked 8700K and I stated that I have 8700 stock. Another user said that the FPS might be CPU related so we changed the source to a testbench with 9900K. And I still got same FPS at higher settings than their tests.
  11. We did move on from that and took the Techspot as the source but still it's false by a longshot.
  12. You took the words out of my mouth in the first part but still about 6 cores: 6 cores is great for games and I belive it still beats the stock 8700 I have without overclock.
  13. Techspot is again the example. While I used less powerfull CPU and put the max avaible on impactful settings I belive I 80FPS that I got equaling theirs is problematic.
  14. Well as another user replied mentioning Techspot they used I9-9900K which is certainly much better than my I7-8700.
