    What I have now is a 8192MB 2400MHz CL16 DDR4 Ballistix Sport - BLS8G4D240FSB and other than eBay, it just isn't sold anywhere. Would a Crucial DDR4 2400 8GB CL17 work? It's CL17 unlike mine, which is CL16. Edit: forgot to mention that I'd like to add it beside the other one of course.

    I only have 8GB and would like to extend it to 16GB but astonishingly what I have now just isn't sold anymore. It's a 8192MB 2400MHz CL16 DDR4 Ballistix Sport - BLS8G4D240FSB and other than eBay, which would ship it in 2 months, I couldn't find other options. In the process of writing this I just found this: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 2400MHz CL16 SODIMM - BLS2K4G4S240FSD I figure this would work, right? I have enough RAM slots on my mobo - a B350 PC MATE.

    Oh my god what a coincidence that you got here exactly now! I haven't used the site ever since and I was about to make another thread about another question of mine. I was able to do it since then but I have no idea what could've been the problem in the first place. Make sure to download every single bios update that is newer than yours. That's what I did anyways.

    This whole assembling shenanigan happened a few weeks ago with the help of my mates who are a lot more experienced than I am and I can't see any of these being the problem, though I do insist on doing it again, who knows maybe something wasn't right afterall. But not right now cause it's pretty late here.

    So I have bought a Ryzen 7 3700x, updated the BIOS, and upon replacing the CPU the PC just runs without doing anything? Or at least there's no signal on the monitor or anything. Have I missed something? What went wrong?
