  1. Hello, I am a first time PC builder and I have a problem with my new PC. My motherboard shows a red light (meaning CPU not detected or not working) and nothing else is happening. All the LEDS on the motherboard are working. I have gotten a new CPU (exactly the same model) and it still doesn't work. Also, the cpu fan does not spin. I have double checked if the CPU connector and 20+4 connecters are in the board properly but there is no difference and tried all the ram configs. I currently believe that the issues may be - Defective Motherboard, Defective CPU socket, Defective CPU power supply cable (Sadly cannot test it without getting a new PSU as it is non-modular) or motherboard not screwed in tight enough? (not sure about this one). Does anyone got any ideas on what is going wrong and how I could solve it and test it? CONFIG Ryzen 5 2600 (stock fan) Asus GTX 1660 DUAL OC ASUS ROG STRIX B-450-I be quiet U9 400W 16gb ddr4 RAM (2X8GB) NOTE: Cpu fan and one of the RAM sticks are not installed to ensure you can see more in the images. I have also checked the CPU pins and they are all fine
