  1. I decided to hash out the money and buy a new motherboard incase my previous power supply messed it up in any way. Ill get back in a couple days
  2. The load of my GPU was < 30%, but on the second test it was at 90%+ most of the benchmark Temperatures stayed under 85 C for both CPU + GPU GPU ran at the OC value set in MSI Afterburner MSI Afterburner Settings (Tested properly in increments)
  3. This is the result of my benchmark on Time Spy http://www.3dmark.com/spy/8490912
  4. alright, ill get back in a bit with the results
  5. what would you suggest using to benchmark my GPU?
  6. I made sure everything was seated properly, no physical damage on my motherboard
  7. everything is tight, however I removed the cmos battery and put it back in and when I tried to turn on XMP my computer will now not post (no beep from internal speaker and no video output)
  8. Yes, I used the cable included in the Corsair Power Supply's box
  9. My GPU load is at around 7% peaking at 10% I know CS:GO is a very CPU heavy game, not much so on the GPU I also play on the lowest settings on 4:3 at 1280x960
  10. 4.6 GHz (task manager says 4.58) at 70 C and around 40% usage
  11. The monitor is plugged into my GPU through a VGA cable
  12. My current PC build i7 7700k @ 4.6 GHz GTX 1070 ti Aero 2x8 DDR4 3000 MHz GB Corsair Vengeance Asus Z-270A Motherboard Corsair 680 W Power Supply Recently I got a new power supply from corsair because my old one decided it didn't want to work anymore. I re-installed windows after I had put my case back together and now I am having severe issues with FPS compared to before I added the power supply and re-installed windows. I will use CS:GO as a baseline for this because it is a fairly easy game to run. In the past I would consistently run at 250-300, however now I am maxing out at 100 and dropping into the 50's. This makes the game almost unplayable for me as I am used to 144hz. I tried to overclock my GPU using MSI Afterburner to see if that was the issue, however that didn't seem to do anything at all. All of my parts are fairly new, purchased around a year ago, and they have been performing perfect for me in the past. I know for sure that this is not a throttling issue because my CPU maxes out at load around 85 C during a benchmark, and my GPU maxes at around 75 C.
