Hi all, I picked up the Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC.
They work perfectly on my Windows Surface Pro 6 but seem to encounter a problem on my PC.
I have been told that when I use them on my PC my voice is dreadful and robotic like, but when I use them on my tablet my voice is perfect.
The only difference I have found is;
Laptop input = Microphone Array (Realtek High Definition Audio SST)
PC input = Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Both also have the option of "Headset HD 450BTNC hands free" but this is even worse. I thought maybe the problem was my input on the PC isn't upgraded/wrong.
I have absolutely no idea what the difference between this input is, though. I thought maybe my voice was coming through the laptop itself and not the headset mic, but I went down stairs away from the laptop and the voice still worked while Microphone Array was active.
Could anyone provide insight as to why the inputs are different, this this is actually the problem or if not, what routes could I persue in order to improve the input? As I have absolutely no knowledge at all in regard to input/output and any type of sound. I tried to research it a bit but I was having no luck.
My PC specs if this makes any difference;
Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz
Asus Z97-K Intel
No sound card (If this makes a difference)
