  1. If you only need the extra monitors for non-gaming stuff you could try using an external card. I don't mean those setups where you have to add another 1080 (or whatever) to an external box, there are very basic external USB powered cards that work okay for normal productivity stuff. You could also just get a second graphics card for your desktop. Example: https://www.amazon.com/Wavlink-2048x1152-External-Projector-XP-Black/dp/B01CSG7TUC No idea if that's an amazing one, but I used one of those types of solutions for work a while back and it was fine. If you want gaming level performance... well you need to buy another 1080Ti
  2. Your picker link is broken for me =/
  3. Maybe I'm just bad at Google/DuckDuckGo, but is there a "Dumb" USB-C switch? Does such a thing exist? I work from home and I use my main monitor for my personal work and my company work. It's a pain to have to pull out my USB-C hub and plug it in to the back of my desktop every time I want to switch. Problem is that I get throughput issues on USB 3 KVM switches with my webcam and USB headphones/mic when I'm using all those things at the same time. I've tried a few different ones from different companies and all of them seem to stutter or have insufficient bandwidth. I tested this by only running my webcam through the hub and it was fine. But as soon as I included my mouse and key board and headset.... it was a mess with all 3 hubs I tried. So I think it's a USB3 limitation. I have have any issues with my USB-C hub, but it doesn't have the "Switching" option and so I have to manually plug the thing into my work laptop every day. I have started using Symless Synergy (software periferal sharing) and I like it, but I still would prefer a no lag solution like I would get with a "Dumb" USB-C switch. On amazon and other vendors I have just recently started seeing some smart switches finally show up that are not 1000 dollars. (Example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W4FT5QC/ref=psdc_13983771_t2_B07P12S2K4) But I don't actually need it to handle the "hot plug" stuff for me, I'm fine if it's just connecting the wires and not doing any processing. I just haven't been able to find such a thing. I see them for HDMI ect... and they are super cheap because, it's basically a fancy wire, but I don't see anything like that for USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 and I'm hoping somebody has some ideas here. Thank You.
