i dont use the side panel because the case is temporary and i dont want to ruin the side plastic untill i can find a glass side panel or someone who can make one for the case as it will be used a ryzen hackintosh still. -

well i have savings set asside for the final gen of ryzen and ive got 1750 for the next gen rtx cards tho im saving that for the hw refresh ones or super cards as i'll want a 3080ti or 3080ti super if such a thing will exist. and cpu im not upgrading till final gen of ryzen i play in multi monitor configs and this post is defunct now as me my uncle and nan all have carbon monoxide poisioning my nan is in crit condition so now im going gas boiler shopping and carbon monoxide alarm shopping and building a outside extention so it doesnt have to be in the living areas of the house. so if ltt has a section for home tech and if smart gas boilers exist then id like alot of advice on that. -

i already have a wraith max which stops it breaking past 50C on load which only happens during something like 4k wow. or 1440 in raids both 21:9. i just want overkill for the sake of overkill. since i dont intend to upgrade my cpu till the next chipsets comeout for the last am4 or am4+ socket chips. i have a 110 budget for 2 more things which are gpu coolers i can stick some 120mm fans on so i can seriously cool my xfire rx580s since these are going to be pretty crazy in some games i play alot like elite dangerous. -

Ryzen is am4 and this doesn't support it according to specs. I'm after something with stupid levels of cooling for my cpu. I mean 110gbp for a air cooler is crazy as it but I want it to be cool and badass. Heat mitigation is key since I'm after some red devil x2 cards for quad crossfire for 4k 60+ in specific games also that horsepower will be sexy in benches for bragging rights in mmos. -
Just come into some cash so I need a Aesthetically pleasing over the top air cooler for a 2600x my budget is £110 GBP or UK Pound's. I have Kingston hyper x ram so they're as tall as ddr4 gets.

open hab ive never heard of that. now a smart home sever would be cool since i have a 18 philips hue blubs and wall mounts as im going to put 9 of them in a 3 x 3 over the space i use my desk and vr and the rest are for around the house so i think thats a great idea. i wish i knew exactly how many games can sync with philips hue but the lists ive found seem incomplete.

so i have a old mac mini and the case is REKT it has 4gb ram and a 64bit cor 2 duo chip and gma 950 igfx which suck for windows but im curious if i can use a custom efi. installing lion then refind is a pain but id like to use android x64 on it which refind wouldnt boot. i can get windows 8.1 installed in 64bit with refind. i want to use this basically as a android tv/ games console as i can a ir mouse to simulate touch inputs which i used to do with my s6 and mhl cable and my wii sensor but that sucks and this has enough horse power to enjoy as a tv box. though if anyone has any other ideas im open to them. i was conidering a steam link box so my uncle could use my 144hz 21:9 screen with inhouse streaming as i use a tplink TL-SF1016D 16 port(i call it a15 port+1 as one is for the internet)switch 10-100Mbps so latency should be minimised since all the devices bar our phones are on cat6 lan cables using ip6 since sky does that now. i just want to re-purpose my old crap rather than throw it out when it works.

haha wow i still have my msata from my old hackintosh on ga-z77d3h using a 3770k and no gpu that ran mavericks well i can get that out and try it i guess ive just mounted it on the screen without its lid as there are some things for another day and i intend to get egpu that i can use a pico psu with to supply power to a card that will be much better than intel hd 4000, tho ill go amd as i know i can hackintosh this thing. im planning to make a 25 inch ultrawide hackintosh so atm is mounted on a piece of wood i have been using for testing. i have usb wifi ac 5ghz thing so ima use that cause ive had it working in osx before but ill settle for elementary os if need be. good thing is screen has 2 hdmi so i can still use it as a regular screen afterwards. any idea if a pico psu could power a hd7770 gpu? -

im actually using the wifi from my old destoyed mac mini 2,1 late 2007 model so i dont think a white list is in play. though a egpu would be better as i can possibly find a 3g wifi combo card. the laptop was a HP Pavilion 14-b110sa Sleekbook. -

where can i get one of these that would make attaching a portable touchscreen to this a great option. -
im repurposing a broken laptop. ive got it all ready to put together and then slot it into whats basically like a switch dock but its mounted on on of my screens via vesa holes which i thought was good since i can just unscrew them and use this on any screen not mounted to it stand via vesa. if i can use this extra port to use a extermal x4 pci slot and a gpu then can you fien folks advise me on a decent card to use that wont need more than a pico psu at most. i have a single slot gtx 1050 or 1050ti lying around in it box still. the pci slot im talking about is the one with a pcb under it as the wifi one has to back which i have made sure there is a 3d printed notch that with secure the wifi once the lid is on the base.

you do realise u can use mirroring with any adapter just set the displays in nvida control panel or windows setting or in radeon to mirror displays. i simply want my gpu to recognise all 3 of my monitors using a single adapter using a thunderbolt 3 adapter. the type c on a rtx card is thunderbolt 3 usb c which means it should be able to carry more than just 3 screens at once but i havent seen anyone confirm this and ive only just got 2 of my screens colour calibrated today and i had to switch to my r9 280x since they just wouldnt use the colour profile which i need for contrast to be correct after matching the white balance on them with a hdmi to dp adapter so my whole issue to to avoid my nvidia surround setup having 3 miss matched white ballance. since that tends to be the actual issue some cause a warmer 5000k where they iirc they should be 7600 across the board with how i set them up.

i mean i was hoping this https://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-com-USB-HDMI-Multi-Monitor-Adapter-Black/dp/B07667D37V?th=1 would let me use all 3 monitors using a single adapter and hdmi and i want a surround setup. because iv noticed when people and personally use active adapters the colours can get messed up on 3 of the same screen even when they all use the exact same pannel and they are all calibrated. i even went as far as to test with other monitors with people i met on facebook and the 3 active adapters i have from vga to display port, and 2x hdmi to display port and 1 of each vga/hdmi to dvi all active even show up as monitors with a 1024x768 native rez without any actual monitors connected to them. so id rather have 3 monitors without unsynced colours use this card at all.

can type c on a rtx 2060 be used to connect 3 screens to one single port via a dongle or adapter i mean its better han using active adapters or buying uneeded passive ones to go from hdmi to display port id much rather some kinda usb c hub that has 3 hdmi ports and take that route. also curious if the usb c port functions as an actual usb port also or just display output.
