  1. Phenom was my really old CPU , yeah i could try a friends RAM but it's not that likely since some computers even can start without ram.. This one doesn't start at all.
  2. I switched my GPU to a low end GPU, unplugged my DVD and HD but it still didn't work. Yes i have a CoolerMaster Extreme Plus 500W
  3. Then it's probably my PSU, i alaredy made a CMOS reset.
  4. What are you saying i should do, sorry i didn't quite understand. I alaredy have BIOS version 2201.
  5. I used the same RAM i am using now with my old CPU which is an FX8320 and it worked great, since FX 8320 and FX 8350 is kinda the same i don't think that should be an issue.
  6. I put the CPU in my friends computer with a MSI 990 FXA, motherboard and it worked fine.
  7. I really don't see how that would help my computer boot.
  8. Additional information that might be good to know is, i had another motherboard before, AsRock 970 Extreme 4, With a AMD FX 8320 CPU, Which worked well and there was enough power for it. So it feels kinda wierd that it wouldn't be enough power for the computer to start with a different motherboard and a slightly better CPU.
  9. This must be done in the Bios and i can't even get there. Should i do this with my old CPU and then switch?
  10. Hey, i recently bought a new CPU for my computer, i will start off with telling you my specifications which is Motherboard: M5A99X EVO R2.0 OLD CPU: Phenom II X2 NEW CPU: AMD FX 8350 8 Core GPU: Powercolor 7970 Powersupply: 500W Coolermaster So, i took out the old CPU, everything was working fine but when i put in the new one and started up the computer the fans started spinning but i didn't get splashscreen, the screen was all black. So i updated Bios to the most recent update but it still didn't work, I am left clueless. So the problem is my new CPU isn't working but when i put in the Old one it works again, i tried putting in my friends AMD FX 8320, Even tho its pins is a bit bent it didn't work either. I am very thankful for every response since i have no idea at all what the problem could be. Best regards, whitesound.
