  1. Awsome. Thank you a lot for helping me out here
  2. So PCI-e risers dont generally have stronger tendency to lead to shorts than other cables ? Based on your own experience or what you heard from others, do you have any recommendations for me ?
  3. Im currently looking into mounting my gpu verticaly into my case for visual reasons. Logically a PCI-E rise cable is needed in order to install the gpu correctly and here is where i start to get a little desperate. So far i wasn't able to find a SINGLE one of those cables without reviews of people telling about faulty cables which made their pc unable to boot or in some cases even about burned out contacts on their cables. Generally the majority of reviews still stated the cables where usable but this raised some concerns anyway. So Can those defective cables cause any kind of permanent harm to my other components like the GPU or maybe even the mainboard ? Or do they just not work without affecting hardware integrity ?
  4. Hey guys, So I'm planning to use a vertical GPU mount for my next build and I'm kinda stuck here regarding a good riser cable. So far I would like to use the cooler master vertical GPU bracket but from what I've the cable it comes with is pretty unrliable. Some reviews are stating it works completly fine others saying its utter crap. Unfortunately after quite some research it seems to me riser cables are a little hit of miss in general when it comes to quality, since every single one I found had more or less mixed reviews. Thermaltakes Premium cable being the only exception here. 80 bucks for a cable here at my place seems a bit pricey though. So my question to you guys is if there is a cable you would truly recommend or whether reliability is a general issue I have to deal with here. (And are defective risers a potential thread to my GPU or does the system just not boot ?) Thank you a lot in advance.
  5. Hey there guys, I'm planning on building my new rig in a few weeks, but I can't really decide on which GPU I'm going to pick. As mentioned in the title I'm considering both the 2080Ti Aorus Xtreme as well as the 2080Ti Gaming Oc. I think the Aorus Card looks way more appealing then it's Gaming Oc counterpart and certainly offers better performance since it's factoryoverclocked. The main reasons why I hesitate are the added cost of round about 150 bucks here at my place as well as thermals and noise. For all I know the heatsink- and fan design on the Aorus card make it quite a hot and noisy running candidate. My question is whether the premium I would have to pay for the Aorus Card is worth it considering the performance boost and aesthetics. (I guess it needs to be mentioned that I plan on using a case which doesn't allow me to verticals mount the GPU without choking it into oblivion thus making me unable to display the GPU 100% properly) Thx for every Answer in advance
  6. Hey there folks. Im planning to build a new pc at the end of this month and i have considered doing that with a focus on NZXT components. I really do like the aesthetics of their stuff and from what i've read in different tests the performance of their AIO's and cases isn't to shabby either. So far so good. But unfortunately it has been quite dark about their mainboard section. As far as i know their n7 z370 wasn't really a hit but mainly due to their overpricing compared to the lack of certain features. However I couldn't find any Information on their newer motherboard the n7 Z390 other then some articles about information NZXT is already giving on their own. So my question would be if anyone of you has some experience with this board or does know from others how it performs.
