  1. Budget (including currency): £1’500 Country: England Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Destiny 2, Warframe, Rainbow Six Siege Other details: Already have a 144hz monitor, an okay air cooler, RM650x Corsair psu and a gaming mouse and keyboard. Hello, fellow forum go’ers. I joined here back in September, but I barely used this site. So, I decided to give it a proper try. Anyway, my current system is a prebuilt (from back when I was more inept with pc’s. Still a bit of a novice). I’ve upgraded it since I got it with extra case fans, more RAM, a third party CPU air cooler (it originally came with a crappy intel stock cooler) and a better PSU. It currently has a non-k i7-7700, a GTX 1060 6GB and 16GB of 2400mhz RAM. The motherboard is a Gigabyte h110d3a. I’m looking to build my first rig. I wanted to get a better CPU, a better GPU, better RAM and a better mobo. Any suggestions would be nice.
  2. That's interesting. I noticed that it stopped for a few minutes after I hard reset it, but it came back. The reason I reset it is simply because it only started doing it AFTED I updated the console after I first booted it up.
  3. Maybe. I've heard that a lot of people think it's the bearings or what you said. It's strange. It's sometimes not that bad. Then sometimes, it's awful. It seems to come and go, especially when it's just booting up. I'll check it out sometime in the next week. Thanks for the tip!
  4. Okay, so, I've had 4 Xbox One S's. Well, I've had to exchange the others as I've always had this issue with every single one. A very obnoxious clicking fan. The system is completely fine apart from that. I really don't want to have to return another one. I was wondering if the OG Xbox One fan would fit in the S and I could use it as a replacement? I know that the S is obviously smaller but I'm not sure if the fan is even the same size as the OG One fan as the OG one wasn't massive either from what I remember.
  5. Ah, I see. Thank you so much for clearing that up. Was getting worried, haha. Really appreciate it!
  6. Okay, so I have a prebuilt that I got a few months back. I didn't know much about PC's at the time (hence getting a prebuilt) and I've been slowly learning more and more. I've upgraded it since then and still need to upgrade the RAM to 16GB as it's currently sitting at only 8GB. Anyway, I upgraded it with 2 case fans (1 intake, 1 exhaust) and swapped out the crappy old 500w (that showed only 456w on the 12v rail) cooler master PSU to a Seasonic focus plus 550w gold rated one. It operates just fine, no crashes or anything. My system has an i7-7700 (non k but turbo boosted) and a GIGABYTE GTX 1060 6GB. But I've noticed that since then, my gpu has been boosting over 2000mhz whenever I'm gaming and it comes up in HWmonitor that the reliable voltage limit is at 1. This only happens when I'm gaming. The power limit doesn't hit 1 most of the time but the utilatisation limit is always at 1. Is this an issue or is it just because my new PSU has more watts so the gpu is able to boost to its limit now? Was just a concern as am still fairly new to all this. Many thanks in advance.
