  1. Thanks for the reply. I tried your advice of doing a PSU power off then starting up again and it worked perfectly. The problem is I have to do this every time I shutdown my PC and want to turn it on again. The error doesn't ever go away and its really annoying because everything worked fine, I literally just swapped out the RAM and started getting the error. I've tested the RAM in another system and its not that. I would really just like it if the PC works like it should but my knowledge on hardware isn't good enough to know where to start looking to fix this. If the CPU had uneven pressure, surely the previous RAM setup would give me the same error and yet it doesn't. This is really frustrating!
  2. I have been running my i7-7700k,24gig hyper x 2133mhz ddr4 ram on my asus mobo with a 750W cooler master psu for a good 3 or so years without any hassles (upgraded to gtx1080ti last year). So the other day I decided to purchase 32gig corsair lpx 3200mhz ram. I inserted the new ram sticks yesterday and booted the pc, went into the bios and enabled the XMP profile and the pc booted as per normal. I played games for a good couple hours without hassles, switched the pc off and went to bed. This morning when I powered on, the pc refused to boot and the error code on the mobo showed 00. I cleared the cmos and left the ram at stock 2133mhz and the pc booted fine over and over. So I restarted went into bios enabled XMP profile and pc started up. Just to test if my system was working ok again, I played GTA V online for a little while, then powered off and on and got the same error 00 code. The above mentioned cmos clear method worked again but I don't want to have to go through the whole process every time I want to use my pc. What could possibly be wrong?
  3. Oh ok cool, thanks very much. It was because of the rizen fps increase one gets with high frequency ram that I was wondering if my ram is holding me back a little
  4. I unfortunately don't know how to overclock or I would have, was hoping someone on the forum had tried something similar before with results
  5. Hi there, I'm running an i7-7700k with asus maximus gene 8 (z170) mobo with 24gig Kingston hyper x ddr4 2133mhz c14 ram and gtx1080ti. I have a 144hz monitor running at 1080p and would like to know if I would gain any frames per second if I changed my ram out to lets say a c16 3200mhz ram kit?
