  1. Hey all,. I've seen the thread regarding removing BIOS password's for Asus laptops using the alt-r recovery date method. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have a way to do that. For reference, the thread is below. I could attempt to painstakingly try every password, but I'm wondering if there's anything else to try. I have an Asus UX430U. I have removed the battery previously and held down the power button for over an hour with nothing connected. Didn't seem to affect anything. I do not see a CMOS battery on the board or a KTS or anything that would be obvious to jump pins to clear the BIOS settings. Any suggestions on what else to try? I cannot boot to windows, just flashes the Asus screen then direct to password. Someone mentioned flashing a newer or older bios on, as far as I understand, I would need some kind of access to windows to accomplish this? If not, could someone clarify what I can do? @pango3001
  2. I have it installed, I can access the admin panel. It's reporting that it is blocking ads, however once I turned off adblock, I'm still getting a ton of ads on youtube both on my PC and my mobile device. Do I just need to add more blacklists? It's apparently blocking 25% of traffic. I tried adding the DNS to my router, not sure if I've done that correctly as I'd prefer to not have to manually change device settings. Can anyone provide a fast and dirty set of settings for an actiontech T3200? Thanks!
