  1. Hello again, Hey, I'm planning on build my first tower after years of playing on laptops. I will be following the recommendations so it can be easier for everyone. 1. Budget & Location 1300€ in Portugal, so items can be a bit more expensive. 2. Aim Gaming and the usual use like watching streams, browsing the internet and likewise. 3. Monitors One for now, two in the future. 1080p 144hz is enough for now. 4. Peripherals None needed. Besides monitor but I can do that myself. 5. Why are you upgrading? Honestly, the charger for my laptop died, so I'm using that as an excuse to update from my 3.5 year old laptop instead of buying a replacement. This is what I think I will be building: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor €213.90 @ Globaldata Motherboard MSI B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard €114.90 @ Globaldata Memory G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory €87.20 @ Globaldata Storage Gigabyte 256 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive €46.90 @ Globaldata Video Card Zotac GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB Twin Fan Video Card €527.90 @ Globaldata Case Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case €69.90 Power Supply Corsair CXM 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply €67.80 @ Globaldata Monitor AOC C24G1 24.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor €159.00 Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total €1287.50 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-09-05 23:14 CEST+0200 I have some extrastorage so that 256 is enough for now. I dont really want a 5700/5700 XT.
  2. Hey guys, I'm building a new pc, and while I settled in almost everything(B450 tomahawk and a 3600), deciding what graphics card to get is taking a lot. I'm thorn between this 2: Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT Pulse 8GB - 436€ MSI GeForce® RTX 2070 VENTUS 8G - 456€ I know that the 5700 XT is better but, since I never used anything else but nvidia I have some reservations. Mainly related to drivers issues and stuff like that. I just would like to know what are the opinions and how safe is to bet on a 5700 XT.
  3. I got the wrong Gpu there, is the non XT version. I have 0 experience with overclocking, but I'm willing to learn, is that too hard or dangerous? I dont mind going like 100€ over budget, but a case is going to be necessary.
  4. Hey, I'm planning on build my first tower after years of playing on laptops. I will be following the recommendations so it can be easier for everyone. 1. Budget & Location 1000€ in Portugal, so items can be a bit more expensive. The budget is only for the tower. 2. Aim Gaming and the usual use like watching streams, browsing the internet and likewise. 3. Monitors One for now, two in the future. 1080p 144hz is enough for now. 4. Peripherals None needed. Besides monitor but I can do that myself. 5. Why are you upgrading? And the CPU and GPU, is the Ryzen 5 3600 the best choice or is any Intel that is comparable? And is the Gpu really worth more 100€ than the 1660 Ti? Finally, the shops that I will be using are https://www.pcdiga.com/ and https://www.globaldata.pt/ if you want to compare and see prices.
