  1. Well i dont think its the Motherboard since i just swapped it a week ago and if you say its not the RAM then it would conclude to CPU or GPU but everything seems in order with all these components when the PC runs. Also my temporal solution seems to work every time for some reason
  2. Hi there, for about 2 days now my PC wont turn immedeatly when i press the Power-button on my case, only the RAM lights up, nothing else does anything. My Specs are as follows: CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x GPU - MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 2080 super Cooler - Corsair H100i RGB Platinum RAM - 32GB Gskill Trydent Z 3200Mhz DDR4 (4x8 GB Sticks) Mobo - Gigabyte B550 Elite V2 (used to have a ASUS TUF X570 that broke one week ago) PSU - Bequiet Straight Power 750W Storage - 1TB Samsung 970 Evo SSD + 2TB HDD Case - NZXT H710 OS - Windows 10 64x Version 21H2, OS build 19044.2728 About last week I had similar troubles. First the PC didnt wanna turn on like it is now, then it did turn on only to not boot. Everything lighted up and turned on but the screens and peripherals stayed black. After some troubleshooting I concluded it had to the Motherboard so I bought a new one. After the PC initially not turning on, I unplugged the PSU and tried again. This time it worked fine. I powercircled 3-4 times and everything worked just fine. Now for 2 days my PC does as I wrote above. The only way i found to turn it on is to turn off the PSU, unplug the powercable, plug it back in, turn on the PSU then wait some time and pressing the power button (I havent tried if its a consistent fix). Everything i tried so far: Checked if all cables are properly connected (unplugged everything and took out the PSU to clean it too) swapped the RAM sticks around took out components one by one to see if anything was the problem - no result cleaned the PC I built the PC myself and never had any problems with it in 3 years i owned it ever since last week. I think the PSU could be the problem but im open to any other conclusion you guys might have. Thanks for your help, if anything is unclear please ask and I will respond ASAP. EDIT: I just turned it off and on again without issue, but when it booted the PC had a bluescreen error that resolved itself. I just remembered that I had atleast 2 bluescreens in the last week. Once when it booted and once when I closed Escape from Tarkov. I dont know if this is relevant but I thought I should mention it.
  3. Well then i could also just reuse my RAM, Mobo, Case and PSU (tho I think I have to replace it) since we are sticking with the AM4 platform
  4. Yeah im about to write a new post for the troubleshooting tho im pretty sure its the PSU. Also yeah, the 4070ti really isnt something im interested in. For what it costs it doesnt do a good enough job.
  5. I think a 4090 would really be overkill since i only game at 1440p anyway. A 4080 or 7900XTX should be more then enough, from a money standpoint too.
  6. Yeah a 7900x3d also seems a bit overkill to me. Im thinking of going the 5800x3d + 4080 route to keep cost low, also i think i need a new psu too since i got this weird problem that i cant pinpoint. What do you say, upgrade or build a new system?
  7. So would you say its better to build a new system? A 7900x3d seems a bit overkill or not? Also can i reuse my Cooler with the new AM% platform or do i have to buy a new one?
  8. Budget (including currency): 2000-3000€ (depends what sensible) Country: Austria Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: pretty much only Gaming, everything from Indie Games to Modern AAA-Games Other details My current system: CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x GPU - MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 2080 super Cooler - Corsair H100 AIO (dont remember the full name) RAM - 32GB Gskill Trydent Z 3200Mhz Mobo - Gigabyte B550 Elite V2 (used to have a ASUS TUF X570 that Broke a couple weeks ago) PSU - Bequiet Pure Power 750W Storage - 1TB Samsung 970 Evo SSD + 2TB HDD Hi, im looking for input on wether to upgrade my current system or to completely build a new one. My current PC has had some problems for a bit now (doesnt wanna boot/turn-on for no reason) and I am wondering if its time to change some things. The system is still doing good but somewhat starting to show its age. Im gaming at 1440p 144hz on my primary monitor and have a second monitor thats 4k. I wanted at the time a pc that allowed me to play both on high frame rates and high graphics settings, now some three years later i more or less have to choose one or the other depending on the game im playing. Im open to upgrading my current setup or building a new one. The obvious CPU upgrade would be a Ryzen 5800x3d, but with AM4 not getting any new releases and DDR5 a Ryzen 7000 CPU or maybe even Intel CPU could also make sense. For GPU its a bit harder. Prices here are all over the place for example: RTX 3080: 900€ RTX 3080ti: 1300-1500€ RTX 4070ti: 900-1000€ RTX 4080: 1300-1500€ Radeon 7900 XT: 900-1100€ Radeon 7900XTX: 1100-1350€ Im open to any suggestions that you may have. If there are any questions or if anything is unclear please ask. Thank you very much for your help.

Also feel free on sharing your tips for a first time builder (its not my first PC but the first one im gonna build myself). Thanks for your answers.
  10. I was planing on getting a new PC around now since my current one is quite aged and wont play be able to Cyberpunk that I was planing to play. But with its delay to September im asking myself if I should wait until the new GPUs and CPUs launch around Summer. Is the performance jump gonna be worth the wait aswell as maybe some higher prices. Or should i just build the PC with current Gen hardware ? Thanks for your help.
  11. Im looking for new headphones and have decided to go wireless. I now have the HyperX Cloud X wich is really nice but getting somewhat old and worn. I would like to use the new headphones in my PC aswell as Console and with my phone, it should also be similarily comfy to my current headset. Price doesnt really matter that much. Does anyone have some good recommendations? Thanks for your answers.
  12. Can I use the nitro thinner shown in the picture to clean my CPUs and GPUs thermal paste ?
  13. Yes it pretty much the same when it comes to the price. But i have some questions. Why the aftermarket CPU cooler? Is the stock one bad? Why Memory with only 3200Mhz? Isnt 3600Mhz the sweetspot? Shouldnt the GPU with 3 fans be better cooled or does that not really matter? And is there a specific reason you chose this case, or do you just recommend this one ? Also thanks for your help
  14. In Advance sorry for typos and some fucked up grammer. This isnt my first time putting together a gaming rig but it has been some time and im looking help and suggestions. So my budget is around 2000 Euro, im from Austria in Europe so please keep that in mind. Im gonna pretty much play anything from AAA games to Indie games. I also want to play Cyberpunk 2077 next year when it releases on PC. My current PC cant keep up with current games anymore, thats why im planning on making a new one. I do have Mouse and Keyboard aswell as two Monitors that im planing on using. First monitor is 1080p 144hz, second one is 4k 60hz. I do have a 250GB SSD and a 2TB Harddrive that can be reused. I attached a File where I put something together of what I thought might be good. Feel free to suggest other stuff but keep in mind that im not the greatest when it comes to PCs. Thank you for your help.
