Hello,
I have a weird issue. I live in the countryside, and as a result decided to get a 4G Mobile Internet Wi-Fi (WIFI) as the speeds and reliability for this is higher (2 Mbps versus 20 on Mifi).
I decided however that i was a little disappointed with just 20 Mbps, so i decided to purchase an external omni-directional antenna that can sit outside of my house. As a result, i've got a much higher download speed (47-50) and a better signal (1 bar versus 2).
However, the speed between devices is very inconsistent. On any windows Device i've tested, im getting the full 50 mbps which is fine, and this is consistent both wired and wirelessly. On Android or iOS devices, i am only getting anything from 8 Mbps to 20 Mbps, with very high jitter and slightly higher ping (42 vs 52). I have no idea what's causing this, as prior to installing the omni antenna the speed was consistent across all devices.
To make sure it wasnt an issue with the signal just dropping, i tried downloading a game on steam to make sure the speed was consistent, and it was on Windows.
My Router is a Huawei B315-22s.
