your ram was 40? ffs i think i was fleeced mine came to 113 but it was 2 separate transactions several years apart. first 8gb cost me around 30. second lot (about 4 years later) cost my the other 83 of that 113. cpu was 91, gpu around 250 and mobo around 55.. apologies my initial total was wrong. think it a typo . price was 509 ish

my case is an nzxt s340 will be upgrading that too at some point as I dont like the rad being at the front of the case and there's no room at the top or back for it

do you remember the cost of the gpu, cpu, mobo and ram? mine came to 398.54 GBP

ah ok. yeah that makes sense. what components would/could you recommend then? I'm not a massive fan of intel, mainly due to price. they're overly expensive imo

mobo should, in theory, be fine, i think. i have different brackets for different cpus.......somewhere in my bits box whats up with the ram? I'm not totally savvy with components, performances, etc. When i built this one i actually got a friend to put together a build list for me
